Preordered this for my 6yo’s birthday. I really would have loved to have one for myself sitting under the Dragonfly, but getting two was going to be just a little too much. Really can’t wait to watch him open this!
The H.M.S compliments the Stinger very well and makes more sense logistics wise in battle. H.I.S.S tanks are made for frontal assault, you want your Stingers hanging back in the rear to launch their missiles over your forces into the enemy lines or have the Stinger hiding out in the woods someplace ready to pick off any unsuspecting Joe's who might be flying by.
As always I love the video. You're right, at the end of the day it's just a toy. However, I don't know of any kids who are dropping $100+ for a single vehicle and figure. This toy line was created for adult collectors by adult collectors.
Can't wait for my pre-order to come in on the stinger. Always wanted it as a kid but never had it. I did have the Vamp as a kid but wasn't one of my favorites. They can still get so much out of that skeleton. I bet they use it for Vamp MK2 and the Thunder Machine, which we REALLY need for our Dreadnok army now.
I've got the old school Stinger and Driver sitting on the shelf across the room next to the old H.I.S.S tank. Both drivers are original and still holding up in good condition. As far as I know the O rings on the figures were never replaced. They are a little loosey goosey in the waists so I don't wanna stretch em too much.
Don't forget the Tiger Force version. The already have the Tiger Force RAM and Figures. But yeah, If classified is still selling well, Dreadnok and the Mk II in desert tan.
The blast effects were pretty close to a deal-breaker for me because the flame should coming from the end of the rocket, ending in the smoke plume, not the other way around. It's a weird defiance of physics that I found underwhelming. Fortunately the overall toy is worth it, but I hope future vehicles forego the blast effects if they aren't going to commit to something toy photographers can really use.
I heard on another TH-cam channel that pre-orders from BBTS were processing for these already. I'm waiting patiently to see what happens with my pre-order via Amazon. Thanks again Kyle for your review

As for the driver, I wish they'd have used the head with the full red masked ones instead of the half and half one to be accurate to the original. On the stinger they should have left the window slats off so you can see figures inside. I Po'd two and i may get out the ole scalpel and open one of them up. The front windshield also looks tinted which looks nice but again I want to see the figures inside. I may buy an extra officer and do a custom head to have a more og looking driver as well.
In the classified line with collectors the vamp had a much more limited distribution and is definitely going to be (it already is ) the more desirable and sought after one and go for more on the secondary market
The back bumper with the peg stands is not interchangeable with the vamp (like they said it was ) they fucked that up and the box for the gas can gets in the way 😂😂
Watching this video I thought for sure you were going to put a Sting wrestling figure in the Stinger though I'm assuming he probably won't fit because they are 7 inch scale.
The Stinger looks good and way more out there to get which makes sense. The Vamp being cut off and now overpriced on Ebay is really dumb. Hopefully they have more soon.

Any that 4th one was my favorite…the desert-themed V.A.M.P. Mark II, with Clutch in the tan uniform.

on the original 3-3/4" Stinger, weren't all of the missiles aligned and not staggered like this Classified version?

It's really annoying that the blast effects have the smoke coming BEFORE the fire.
They had a chance to fix them but released them the same way again. Don't know what they were thinking to put the smoke before the fire
