    Awesome job Kenny super clean! Sometime putting in those conversion plates can be a pain in the balls.

    I’ve never seen a rotozip saw before, super cool little tool for cutting the outline. My journeyman likes shark bites but I would much rather sodder haha there are always different ways of doing things.

      There definitely are! And it’s important to know different ways of solving problems, so the more options you have the better!

    Before you rip out the old mixing valves and handles, consider instead capping the showerhead lead on the old and installing a new mixing valve for the shower only. Then you dont have to bother with the over sized cover plate. Also, the new mixing valve will be flow limited to 1.75 gallons per minute whereas the old valve probably has a much higher flow rate to fill the tub.
    Downside to this is making a brand new hole for new mixing valve handle and the back side plumbing becomes more complicated, need to supply both valves with hot and cold.

    Sometimes those can be a real pita, especially when there's a lot of blocking in the wall

    GOOD INFO IN THE VID. What brand are the gloves you use to Solder. They seem to work pretty slick with wiping

    Im impressed by the Rotozip yet I wouldn't never use this huge torch to work in a confine space.

    Did you have to shut off the main before performing any of this work?

    Good job on the Rotozip cutout. I always see you use your gloves to wipe your solder joints, are those just work gloves or are they heat resistant ?

    • @Kennymolotov
      @Kennymolotov  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No heat resistance Jose, just regular gloves but they seem to do ok if you are fast with the wiping…
