I’ve watched several productions of BATB in preparation for my audition as LeFou, and seeing how his characteristics are. I especially love this LeFou, and this Belle in this one. Belle acts very well experienced in musicals.
For high schools looking to produce beauty and the beast musical make sure you send in requests before the end of December this year. Next year there will be a revamped musical package for this show on MTI.

Because they want to include as many people as possible, and also some people may be sick so having more people allows for people to fill in. And the dances all look the same because the choreographers often take moves from other versions. The more people you have the more help you have and the more funding you might have, plus a stronger singing ensemble.

Plus I think it’s more fun as 6 girls even in the original he must have 3 girls that fawn over him because there’s more than 3 girls and Belle in town. He’s also “the most liked guy in town” and I loved the girls in this production. They were constantly fighting and all over him it was hilarious!!
