This song was honestly the best part of the movie

As someone who grew up watching this film as a child, I can say this was one of my favorite songs. And to this day, I still see it as an amazing film, and while it may not be the greatest sequel in the world, I definitely think it was one of the better ones. A chance for Balto to truly accept who he is as a wolf, but also for Aleu to do the same. I listen to this song, and I ask myself “who am I, and what do I have to do to discover who I am?” It’s that powerful a song since it’s forcing me to ask those questions. Plus, come on, Muru’s singing is amazing. And I always found Aleu to be a beautiful character. My only complaint is I wish there was a sequel where Kodi and Balto were reunited with Aleu. I know Kodi and Aleu were close as pups, seeing as how it was Kodi who was the last of the pups to be adopted and waved goodbye to his sister. I just wanted to see that moment where Kodi also accepted his identity as part wolf as well, and could be proud of his sister for accepting who she is.

I'm not sure when I start liking and loving wolves but I love this song so much it always gives me goosebumps, it hits the heart, it's so cool and so beautiful. Native American music is so calming and beautiful as well. Sadly I've only watched Balto 2 I haven't seen the 1st or 3rd yet.
You don't necessarily have to. They each have their own storylines in a way and most people don't like the 3rd one.

I just realized no matter how many times I've seen this picture never realized Balto was looking at alieu not forwards
This affected so much as a kid and now, as an adult, I've found the lyrics in this song (as well as the finale song) to be extremely beautiful and full of truths. I will always love this little gem of a movie.

This is so beautiful. Maru's chant and his song are both so beautiful. The film is fairly terrible but this part is perfection.
You know its really strange as a kid i dint use to think it was terrible, i can see most of its flaws now that im older but the nostalgia... is really not a bad movie, more like average i would say

Possibly the fox too as she helped him find Alou too but I don’t think they ever said for certain but his mom was there for the first movie when he was dragging the medicine up the cliff side
I have a feeling that his mom IS one of the spirits, and thats why he has those dreams at the start as well as why he and his wolflike daughter can see/comunicate with the spirits so easily.
But I dunno. As a kid this movie confused me so damn much.XD
His mother is his MAIN spirit guide, but she's not the only one out there to offer guidance. If you remember in one of Balto's dreams, it's Aniu who tells Balto about each spirit he would eventually meet and what they would teach him.

Balto 2 i liked more then the original...for while the 1st was abkut balto coming to terms with himself to save a villahe and thier children...the sequel is about discovering ones self and letting your children go to explore the world with a hi t of mystic spiritualism and a respect for native american lore! Plus wolves are cool and the song not bad

My only favourite scene in Balto 2
I am more of a descendant of the Taino natives, borinque, it died because of mix race with them in Puerto Rico, never got to learn what the natives are like but I'm sure this is the closest thing in their belief

While I remember loving this scene as a child, watching it as an adult has made me realize the importance of the questions and answers given: who am I? and why am I here?
I disagree with the film’s attempt to lump the two questions into one answer, although they are related.
My own answer to the ‘who am I’ question is, I am a child of God (so my life and purpose aren’t constrained to a mortal life). This is not a conglomeration of labels, it’s an identity that can’t be changed.
The ‘why I’m here’ question I’ve found partially already and will continue to find. But it’s related to my identity, in that overall my purpose is to try to become more like God, my Father.
