What I like about these videos is, no waffle, no repeating things that have been said twice already, straight to the facts supported by great graphics. Learn heaps from these guys

I like that, high flow high surface area HX

Out of all the amazing animations in these videos to illustrate the most complex interactions, the bull in this video is the best. 😁

Cool video. Thanks for including the info comparing the Spiral with the Plate heat exchanger.

They should invent a methane (CNG)/propane (LPG) fuel cell, like they already have with hydrogen fuel cells and soon with direct methanol fuel cells, so that efficiency can be improved greatly. This will go greatly towards solving the renewable energy problem, while also totally eliminating smog- and acid rain-forming NOx emissions.

Does the spiral exchanger require a bigger pump than other types? Since it is one continuous channel I would think the pressure drop is higher for an equivalent flow rate? At what point does the additional power consumption of the pump become prohibitive vs a different type of heat exchanger that is cleaned periodically?

Shouldn’t you just use the coolant from the engine to input the heat exchanger instead of a separate boiler?

You only made this video so you could animate a pooping cow.
    We know..... 😂🤣😂

Is this spiral counter-flow exchanger any more efficient than other types?

    So these HEX's🤔
Is it the same style of HEX thats in a Baxi Duo Tech Combi, for example 🤔
Heat Exchangers used to be Flat, Braisery Copper, Finned.
But now with Condensing Boilers ,the Hex's have changed massively in style.

This is similar to system 2000 oil boiler, except one fluid is water for the hydronic system, and the other fluid is the hot gas from the oil burner.

This exchanger also appears to use less space.

Cuz it gets the job done with less, but the design has to be made carefully. All the coils and making them have proper contact is probably very challenging.
