Unique Jet Powered Pitts Bi-Plane - Rich Goodwin at Eastbourne Airshow 2023

Rich Goodwin flying his twin source powered Pitts biplane at Eastbourne airshow. Those tail stands are a lot easier to do with the extra power of those 2 jets I would imagine. Good to see something unique like this at Eastbourne this year.

Nice!! Probably have been others, but the last instance of a Jet-Prop combo I can recall were B-29's in the 1950's for JATO - Jet Assisted Takeoff. But, again... there were/are probably others. As this video shows. 😎
