Blimey! You won't see a better Typhoon display than this. Aggressive, quick, agile, nimble and downright brilliant display by pilot Noel Rees. We had plenty of tight turn afterburner passes round us, incredible negative-g pushes and some awesome loud fast flybys over the top of us, as well as circling round the Lancing Chapel which always makes for a good view.

The French Marine Embraer Xingu plane sounded good as power was applied, fuel had a sweet rich smell to it too. Got bored with nothing going on at Waddington with the Canadian F-18s so found myself filming this little thing.

The howl sound comes from the air passing through the landing gear at 90% throttle. A beautiful sound!

Drone. Have seen them here from time to time. Where I live is near several military bases in northern Virginia. Near Washington DC.

Yes
Essentially kerosene being burned. I suspect it smokes less when at full temperature, but I’m no aircraft maven. Still an eye and-ear-catching machine
Unusual seeing that much come out, but I guess no big deal, maybe a rich mix of fuel, not sure..

At first i would have said a foreign satellite but when you zoomed out the perspective distance was definitely not LEO. Its very unusual looking for a drone but other than that, what are the alternatives? Extra Terrestrial? lol ;) It wasnt LEO but it was definitely high altitude. Carmen line spy plane Alt. Good catch. Did you see it with the naked eye first?
i did yes and quickly grabbed the camera and zoomed in, the quality on the zoom isn't great but did capture okay, it's an interesting one. Thought I'd upload and see what you guys reckon

Was this in the churchyard at the end of the runway? I saw it from the hangar, the howl for us was hidden by the trees so was pretty disappointed - I did see a large group of people in the church though and wondered how I can get in there, would you have any info on that?

I remember when I was in school around Year 3 ish a Tornado flew over towards my right literally next to me towards the car park at less than 20ft. I could see the Pilots and everything, was such a cool experience, sad we retired them
