I tried your mod and it was really funny and entertaining, but I do have to agree that the, er, trap shotguns(?), while funny, are more annoying than anything. Loved the animations of the weapons. Kudos for your work.

I think a way to make this more interesting would be if the mod forced you to use whatever weapon you last walked over, no switching. That way if you picked up a dud gun you're frantically looking for a new one and if you pick up an OP gun you may accidentally lose it pretty quickly.
I can't stop laughing at the reload animation at 4:02 Like, seeing the motions of the hand especially, I can totally envision someone firing that monstrosity, and then in just an absolute panic to reload yelling something like: "GAH-HUWH! EH-GEH-HER-DUH! SHELLS IN THE-(pat pat)-THERE WE GO! *BLAM*". Hey! There's a solid idea for a mod in itself! "Panicked Super-shotguning". I'd play it!

Personally i would have made a lightning with something like 5-10 branches instead of an almost beam-like lightning. I love the creative, sometimes ingenious shit modders come up with, even when it's just a goofy, amusing mod. I mean, come on, a shotgun shell you hit with a hammer as a weapon? That's some out of the box thinking!
Well, I certainly know of a mod you'd probably get a kick out of. It's called Cold as Hell, by Jon "JonnyFive" Washburn. Takes place on a US base in 1950's Greenland. Very awesome total conversion.
The first one is like a Saw trap, and when you finish it, Doomguy realizes how wrong his carnage is and becomes a pacifist, otherwise he'll face Jigsaw's wrath again. :^)
That tower shotgun though talk about fast reflexes I mean come on! Throwing that many shells into the air and reloading them like that?! That makes me think Doomguy is part tengu because of that!

You notice how every weapon shoots more than one bullet? They're all shotguns, even the lightning since there's more than one string.
