Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Return is written by Amy, the actress who played Kimberly the pink ranger. This comic is an alternate history and does not follow the same path as the story of the TV series or the other comics. In this universe the Mighty Morphin managed to defeat Rita and Lord Zedd, but the consequences were extreme.
Power Rangers is an American television series and franchise of the tokusatsu genre, version of Super Sentai Series, a Japanese television series of the same genre. It has been broadcast since 1993. From 2002 to 2009, the franchise was owned by The Walt Disney Company, but was reacquired in 2010 by Haim Saban, its creator and original driving force between Mighty Morphin and Wild Force (the latter created early in production before the sale of Saban Entertainment to Disney). On May 1, 2018, it was confirmed that the franchise was bought by Hasbro.

Truthfully I thought Kim was the one who went dark. So she’s hiding because of her and Tommy’s daughter.
Side bar* I never liked the dynamic of Kat and Tommy being married or together, the live action kept forcing it every time they made a cameo but true fans never liked it. We always wanted for him and Kim to get back together in the future

Why Kimberly pissing me off. I understand grieving but you should have known of the possibility off death being a ranger. Then have a attitude and restrict the other rangers from using their powers

It's at least somewhat in character. Acceptance was never Kim's strong suit. However, she was never the type to push anyone away either. Tommy, Jason, and even Zack were more the type to push people away than her.
