My husband and I go to the beach for a week in September, I've been doing things all morning to get ready, this was a lovely, relaxing break! Fall is my favorite season as well, once we get back from the shore I'm ready for full Fall decorating! While I'm not a fan of pumpkin spice lattes, I LOVE to bake with pumpkin! Recently I started crocheting for fall and it's very soothing for my soul. Every fall I knit my slippers for colder weather and it's a ritual for me to start the fall. Crochet is very easy and calming hobby.
Hi Jen, Agree, sad to see summer come to an end but thankful we had no wildfire smoke or heat dome this summer. Although we enjoyed weekly visits to nearby lake, we only leaving for a weeks vacation in two days as we prefer less crowds when most tourists are gone and kids back in school. But just today, after thoroughly cleaning my home yesterday, I pulled out some fall decor- door wreath, warm throws, fall dried flowers and cleaned the garden of vegetable plants no longer producing. Since the week away in the mountains with alpine lake promises to be summer like weather, once home, I’ll be set to begin my favorite season-fall! I just finished a fall colored flannel quilt last week. Anxious for coming chilly nights, pumpkins, apples and warm fires with a good book and my poodle at my feet!

I love the end of summer since I live in Tucson Arizona where it gets up to 115 degrees and over 100 for sure for at least 2 &1/2 months 😅 . Fall and winter for us is heavenly ❤. I absolutely adore your channel and how open you are about life. It's very very relatable 🤗 thank you and God bless ❤

Lovely video that filled me with cozy autumn vibes :) I like fall, but was getting restless with all the rain we got last week. This fall I started to bake more - apple pie, apple pancakes, and cooking using new recipes that I'm excited about. I also ordered a new table lamp and planning to add either a lamp or a lantern to the terrace for those gloomy days that are eventually coming. Have a nice September! I haven't been able to think about autumn yet, it's very warm here in England at the moment and I have a flu bug so am not really doing anything apart from taking it easy - I have come to realise that it's ok to just rest and get better instead of feeling guilty about not doing anything. I try to not over complicate my life. My goal is to slow down, take comfort in routine, focus on what is best for me (not what others feel is best). I’ve always been fascinated by the Finnish Culture and I love seeing how people live over there. I hope to visit one day. I live in Sydney, Australia so our seasons, if you can call them that, are the opposite to yours. We are now heading into springtime and then summer. So sad to see the end of Summer approaching. We are still having days 80 degrees Farenheit and up. I am holding onto Summer! I hope you are feeling better. My Mother got sick in July and she is just now getting back to her normal self. Prayers for your healing. 🌞

It is warm year round where I live, so there is no clothing change out for each season. The end of spring is sad for me. My body doesn't adjust well to the heat, so summer is usually spent indoors. Autumn is my favorite. It just seems slower and more comfortable.
My autumn plan is to relax more and study peacefully besides having cherish time in home by trying new warm recipes ❤ Thanks for making me think what I want for this season 😊

My favorite slowliving channel. Sorry to hear you were unwell. Glad you enjoyed your vacation to the UK with family. Autumn is here but we are haivng a heatwave, high temps for about a week then will most likely become rainy or overcast & start heading into Autumn properly :) Ahhh you know its over when you put the AC into storage lol Food looked delish! It is warm year round where I live, so there is no clothing change out for each season. The end of spring is sad for me. My body doesn't adjust well to the heat, so summer is usually spent indoors. Autumn is my favorite. It just seems slower and more comfortable.
