Milwaukee Culkin complimented Rich on his skills on his podcast, and Rich said that if RLM hadn't existed he would've loved being a carpenter. He knows but he deserves all the praise because RLM's sets usually look great. Lighting is important too but still, he knows how to make a small budget work.
Same what I've always thought, for sure. It's like there's TH-cam and it's content creators, then there's a corner with RLM-sign above it and once you check out that corner, everything else on TH-cam becomes "it's good, but not RLM-good".
They've built a loyal fanbase by having integrity and sticking to their guns, and they've reached a point where they don't need commercials, product endorsements, or self-censorship for fear of losing money. It's an act of rebellion to act like a normal person as a content creator, and it has paid off for RLM.

It’s actually kinda weird in hindsight that he used to do BOTW while drinking. I sometimes forget that. But it’s good to have a designated driver for when Mike is harassing Jay about his murderous tendencies towards cats.
During the first movie I was worried Rich was not gonna laugh at all. It made me realize once again that I can't imagine this show without Rich's laugh.
When Rich says "I HATE this" during Night of the Demon, his voice is conveying a symphony of emotions; I hear disgust, self-discovery, relief, and something like defiance. He's simultaneously protesting his innocence against the possibility he might like this and mentally double-checking to make sure. It's simply a bravura delivery.

Watching the annual Halloween episode is the equivalent of putting up the tree at Christmas. It's tradition. And if you haven't seen the Infamous Team Brick Wall vs Team Light Wall Debate, you haven't lived.
I'm willing to believe the demon they saddled Rich Evans with in this episode was the one who gifted him all of the dark knowledge about Star Trek so Rich could beat Mike at trivia. These sorts of summonings are always faustian in nature, after all, and what bigger loss could Mike suffer?
I've not regularly shopped at thrift stores in many a year, but seeing RLM props (including the "actually haunted" um... artifacts here) instantly transports me to every thrift store I've ever been to, complete with lifelike details, sounds and especially odors. It's like a dumpster powered VR!
I look forward to these holiday themed videos from these guys every year. I don't have any family, and I live very far away from my friends, so my holiday traditions have become these videos. I've not regularly shopped at thrift stores in many a year, but seeing RLM props (including the "actually haunted" um... artifacts here) instantly transports me to every thrift store I've ever been to, complete with lifelike details, sounds and especially odors. It's like a dumpster powered VR!
I look forward to these holiday themed videos from these guys every year. I don't have any family, and I live very far away from my friends, so my holiday traditions have become these videos. Happy Halloween, you hack frauds. I love you, and your videos very much. It's like having my own family who doesn't know I exist, yet I watch everything they do.
