Hi! My name is MrGuybrush, streamer and youtuber, and for the past weeks I've been very interested in the lore of League of Legends, mainly because of Arcane. I've never played LoL so I'm just focusing on the lore for now. I want to learn the story to enjoy more the upcoming MMORPG, whenever that happens. I'm deep diving into ALL the lore available as well as cinematics.

It's reminds you of Arcane because it was done by Fortiche, the same studio that made Arcane
As well as Ekko's "Seconds",
"POP/STARS" by KD/A, "Warriors" and "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons, and the 2018 Worlds song "Rise"
wasn't this Fortiche's first venture with Riot for that matter?
Its the same studio that animates Arcane! It's really cool to see how much they have progressed when looking back at Get Jinxed which was their first league of legends work
Back in the day in 2013-2015 watching this was like "This character is so cool!!!" like, it was a crazy funny girl with so much energy, but man, when they first released the Enemy MV all of our perspective of Jinx changed A DAMN LOT, her real backstory gave us so much pain!!! After that, we will never seen Jinx in the same way. AND ALL THE THINGS IN THE OG GET JINXED MV, there was all the hints about the show. The Balloon that Mylo wanted to ride, the Monkey that keeps following her guilts, THE ROCKETS AGAINST THE TOP BUILDING, "Pow Pow", "Energy", they really expected to do the series IN THAT MOMENT as the documentary said.
I really miss that era when Arcane didn't existed yet and we enjoyed Jinx in many ways, never expecting that she's mentally broken but broken in-game, but those years are gone, we had to embrace the greatest animated series of all times.

1:51 not only was she not a base character, she even got released after Vi. I remember when they teased her release. they would post pictures where only her tattoos were visible
2:19 the rocket launcher is ther iconic weapon, her last shot of the EP is depicting her Ultimate ingame

It looks like arcane because its the first collaboration by Christian Linke, the arcane show runner/writer, and fortiche.
Oohhh this was made by Fortiche too? I watched the first episode of Bridging the Rift before this video and I saw Fortiche stuff was so cool!! The reaction to that episode should be up in a couple of days

Honestly, as someone who has never played LoL, I was VERY surprised to see how deep her character is. I'm exploring all the lore I can before Season 2 to enjoy it way more 😊

Jinx is B A. Nuff said. (You were correct about her Ultimate. Look it up, it's pretty sweet.)
I don't understand why she is so often compared to Harley... are there not enough psychos? Not to mention how soft Harley has been made in her story. And yes, the inspiration of the Tank Girl character is much more readable.

Neither Jinx nor Vi were popular enough to get a show for themselves but it worked like a charm, Runeterra's stories are that cool
Even though jinx release was basically a Renaissance for the game, it brought way too many new players xD
