I wish I could shake Tim's hand, and thank him for all the movies that spoke to me over the years, and inspiring a love for stop motion in ME, as well! His passion for the strange and unusual - and his kindness towards the outcast amidst it all - really has meant a lot to me in my life.
I wish I could do the same thing. Tim Burton is my favorite film director of all time and his films mean so much to me. I know he had kind of a rough patch the last several years, but I think producing Wednesday and directing Beetlejuice Beetlejuice I think gave him a new creative spark.
A Beetlejuice sequel was just way too risky and Tim obviously knew that. I spent about two decades or so hoping like hell for one, but I finally just gave up on it because too much time had passed and Tim had said many times that there were no plans on ever doing a second Beetlejuice movie. Several years back, though, he stated that he'd be open to it if the "perfect idea" came along -- which got my hopes up again, of course. I am confident that this sequel will be incredible, because Tim wouldn't have risked it otherwise.
I've never seen a Willem Dafoe interview despite seeing tons of movies with him starring in them, so I was surprised to see how happy and upbeat he is. His characters tend to be pretty dark and he is clearly the complete opposite of that, all smiley and cheerful. I never would have imagined his personality being what it is, so I'm definitely pleasantly surprised.
check out this Q&A for Poor Things from awards season this January; he's very upbeat, infectiously so, and his castmates clearly love him for it: th-cam.com/video/iSbFzWUf5cc/w-d-xo.html
I agree. I didn't know Danny devito was in it. ❤Winona, Jenna is gorgeous, William defoe,...that dude just had this look about him where he's meant to play crazy characters
So excited for this. Long time coming. Cute that Michael said Noni. , her nickname. Exceptional cast. They have speculated the last few years. When Michael was the one saying possible sequel so glad it finally came in to reality
Can't wait ide watch Winona Ryder doing anything... forever my crush let alone Jenna Ortega is one of the hottest ladies on earth. The movie was fun the first time around let alone bringing back the memories of my youth.
Someone needs to study that dude Tim Burtons brain, . I bet theres tiny creatures in there working on creating new worlds. That in of itself sounds like one of his movies
Half your videos are calling things "woke garbage" bud, if that's your level of critique I gotta assume this movie will be amazing. Thanks for the recommendation!

Winona 4Ever. No one is cooler, she was just being nice.
I'm so happy for Michael, Tim, Winona and everyone else involved. The movie is doing great!

Yeah, I’ve even been avoiding all previews and ads for it cus I wanna go in blind for it when I finally see it.
I'd say it's solid. Not incredible, but solid
