I’m so excited to share my 2024 Decor Trends with you! Such a great group of trending styles, that in my opinion are timeless! Let me know what trend is your favorite! I can’t wait to hear 🤎🤎
Finally, people are leaning back into vintage/antique furniture. I could never understand how people wanted to have their homes look like an Ikea catalog or something like it. I never stopped loving antiques and good craftsmanship...quality not quantity. I am glad I have a beautiful collection of pieces started from a young age. I like the 'avant garde' trend...and also the use of tapestries- I will have to do a search for that, as in my country there will be an abundance of such things. I have always loved red- and have an element of historic red in every home I have had (a kind of ritual). The red always brings a pop of personality, and can really elevate a room. Truly, every trend listed here is appreciated and I embrace ;).
Thank you so much for your kind words and for giving us a glimpse into your design style. I love the thought of an element of historic red in every room and home you've lived. What a tradition!! So fun and unique to you, I'm inspired!
I just went into the Ralph Lauren store in Soho in NYC this weekend when we’re were moving my daughter to the city. There’s nothing more iconic than that classic American style. Just beautiful!
@@ashleychilders I agree! Oh, I feel for your mom heart having your daughter take a new venture in life! It’s magical for them, yet hard for us at the same time!
I love each of us decorates our homes so differently and that’s the beautiful thing! I personally love organic modern but more on the minimal side with a dose of tradition. ❤ Blessings and happy home decorating 😊
Really happy to see the French provincial and tapestry style again in 2024 it’s a huge yes for me, highly inspiring ! (I have a French countryside house so work quite well)
TAPESTRIES!! I have 2 GORGEOUS ANCIENT Tapestries & moving to a new home NOT at the Beach for the first time in my life so I look forward to hanging them!
We tried to include images they have unique accessories, art and sculptures. I love layering in vintage and antique finds. So often they add that avant guard vibe that I’m looking for ❤️
I always love to incorporate something quirky or unexpected in all that I do. From what I wear to how I decorate. It helps with not taking anything too seriously! 🤠👻😸👽
How well I remember making my mom and dad’s bed and tucking the fabric under the pillows - the finishing touch was pushing the bottom corners close in to the bed. Love the look of the linen “understated bed” !
I would love to add a tapestry to my walls but must they always vintage items that can only be found in antique shops? Are there any regular retail stores that sell tapestries? Thanks in advance! Also, I LOVE the minimalist bed trend... too many pillows is just not functional when you have to make your bed every day.
Awesome! Now that I have $800 invested into three comforters, a textured blanket and 248 pillows this look is OUT. BAHHHH jk I love it but very clean and cool to see the sleek clean bed look.
Mmm, not sure these trends are for me. It all looks a bit disheveled. I like antiques and a little quirkiness, but I need a little more polish and space. I never liked a bedspread that went to the floor. Very grandma. Lol Thanks for showing us what's trending though ! 🙂
I won't be doing the understated bed. Just not my style. A bed with fluffy pillows and throws is so much more inviting and creates a focal point for the bedroom.

I love that people are using vintage because it will keep good furniture out of the dumps and makes the home interesting.
I couldn't agree more!!
Interior goals! Can't afford it all but at least I have something to work towards. Thanks for the inspo Ashley.
Thank you for your kind words and for watching! Cheers to a beautiful 2024!

I'm surprised your videos dont have more views, theyre so aesthetic to look at.
Hello, can anyone point me in the direction of the vase/floral arrangement as well as the tapestry at 4:44? I love it. I need it. Thank you
Would love to see some examples of avant guard. I didn't note anything like that in your photos.

I bet there are loads of great options on Etsy! I love shopping Etsy for unique, original finds. It’s one of my go-to places to shop online!
@@ashleychilders Thank you so much for replying! I'll def check Etsy. 😊
Love it all ❤and I am that uncle 😂
😂😂 I need to know you! I bet you’re the coolest uncle EVER!

Including vintage furniture and accessories in a space adds so much soul! Thanks for watching!
Hate the bed thing but you do you
Avant-garde can also be known as quirky.

ACK-cessories instead of ASS-cessories.
Lol. Oh, me and my accent! Thanks for watching!
That's no accent, it's a mispronunciation. Own it! @@ashleychilders
