- John Lennon's two sons grew up living completely different lives raised by two different people. And who would have thought his two long estranged families would ever come together in peace and harmony. But as Anthony Mason now shows us, they have.
What a gentle soul Julian is, which appears to have been handed down to him by his mother. We need more gentleness and kindness in the world so bring it on Julian!
Julian is living the PEACE, that John/Yoko just gave lip service. It is easy to talk about peace, it is another thing to BE it!

Damn. Props to Cynthia for raising him with such a great positive attitude. He could've so easily gone down the wrong path with the way his childhood was.

The more I read Julian's posts (facebook), and watch his music videos & interviews, the more I am convinced that he's an "old soul" with a goodness about him. Yes, I will admit I was drawn to his TH-cam videos while searching for Beatle & John Lennon videos. However after watching this interview, it is plain to see he is his own man. A man with a gentle heart & spirit. Thank you, Julian, for making this planet a much better place.
+lidstrom97 just like his mother! Cyn did an amazing job at raising him by herself. Hope I can meet Julian one day or Sean. My uncle got to meet Sean at a club in Hollywood a few years ago and he said he was a really nice and laid back guy. He also met Dhani Harrison as well.

In my opinion- best guy, best son, best person EVER! I have always had such tremendous love, respect, and admiration for Julian, and it has only increased more and more (if that is even possible!) as time has gone on. He seems like such a sweet, kind, humble, and completely all-around fabulous guy. I love watching him and listening to him talk, and can do so on and on. It is so nice to see great things happen to and for him, and I always wish him nothing but the very best. What a doll he is!

@@crmay72 He's a good man. He had a tough time as a child being the son of a famous musician who was indifferent to his own son. But his Mother was a strong woman who gave him guidance. As much as I was a John Lennon fan, John wasn't half the man Julian is.

I think John would be in awe of his son today and so proud of him, for what he had to suffer because of him and who he has become in spite of the hurt he endured.
Julian has a sweet spirit and a kind heart.. even for his brother there is undying love. It is totally sorry on Yoko's part to make Julian have to buy his father's things. Why not be a decent soul and let him have his father things freely.

Seems like Julian's mother did a hell of a job raising him. He always comes across as an intelligent guy. Very grounded and down to earth.

Julian and Sean were never "estranged", that was made up by the press. They're actually pretty close.

What a nice interview! Very raw and insightful. Julian has done a lot of soul searching regarding his father. It's wonderful to see COMPLETE healing in areas that were extremely painful to him. Looking at his situation from his father's perspective helped him understand and forgive. He is truly free...regarding father's abandonment! So proud...well done Julian!💯🙌 There is ✌in forgiveness! 💛

Julian is a nice guy. I'd be really happy to meet him someday. Notice how he never seeks pity. He's a strong man, and that's what so many people like about him.

Now on the eve of his Leica photography exhibition in LA, "Cycles" (September 2016). one can see a wonderful progression of Julian Lennon's journey w/his photography.. He has the courage & talent on his own, no doubts! I smile to see his mother, Cynthia Lennon's reaction to his gallery event.(interview above) What more could a mother want but for her son to be happy? "Mum is my biggest supporter", said Julian. Somehow, I can imagine her smiling now....

I have to say I admire Julian Lennon for his intellect..Once he saw the examples of the situation his father was in he grew to understand.He is a very down to earth fellow.What a great sense of awareness.I think it is what we all need to survive but I don;t think many of us really grasp it.It was a year ago tonight that my mother died.It's the same thing.Understanding and going on.God Bless My Mother and Julian's Dad
Julian is so very under rated as an artist. He excels where few can truly go. Look at Julian holistically. He was basically abandoned by his father and more recently his father's co-workers, Paul and Ringo. He had a smash album in 1984 and then several songs that surprised many in their brilliance after.
He is his own man.
Until I read a comment below, I did not know that Cynthia Lennon had passed away. I have spent the last month first, listening to her book. Then, I watched all the Julian/Cynthia interviews that were recommended by TH-cam. Julian is a remarkable man. You just want to sit and listen to his heart speak. He has such a generous spirit, and I’m sure his mother trained him up well. I thought highly of the mother/son team. It breaks my heart to learn that she is not living.

Julian is such a class act !! He tries so hard to step out of his "Dad's" shadow , but I guess the name will not allow it ! Julia did such a great job raising him , and it shows how much he loves his mom . John walked away from his responsibilities and Julian should of been at the top of the list !! But , I guess fame can blind you to that . I wish all the best to him and his mom .

I thought yoko ono issuing a statement when Cynthia Lennon died, was intrusive and inappropriate. What utter gall and audacity after the way she treated Cynthia and Julian. Sleeping with Cynthia husband in her own home. They could have had the common decency to go somewhere else. And the greedy,grabby way she treated Julian when his father died. And she would only allow Julian to come to the funeral without Cynthia. And then to issue a statement when Cynthia passed. Yoko is a loathsome human being.

He seems like the kind of guy that you could sit down and have a beer with. I have like his music and think that it never really got the props it deserved on its own merit . His dad casts a long shadow, but he seems to have come into his own. He seems like a very personable and genuine person. Given the chance, it is a celebrity like him that I would enjoy meeting. I think John Lennon would be proud of both of his kids.

It is a shame John died before he could change his will to better include Julian so that Julian would not have had to buy his memories back from John's estate. And shame on Yoko for not making it easier for Julian. but like it says on this video they are all growing older and hurt feelings are subsiding. And so good to see Julian and Sean being brothers.
