Selectors always believe in past performance and veterans and not on present form. 20/20 changed a lot of late. Now it is swift action, brilliant fielding, and accurate bowling.
So no Rinku, no Natarajan, no Gaikwad. All seniors will perform like pedestrians! Windies also will do well.
No Abhishek Sharma plus bowling apart from Bumrah and chahal is just too weak.
The selectors need to be selected first.

It cannot be done brother, Rinku and Natarajan don't have huge following. Jadeja and Siraj played for the most popular franchise. Basic criteria to get selected for India cricket team is not Runs or Wickets, it's how popular you're and what's the viewership and crowd engagement you can bring

Noone is taking about Abhishek Sharma, He could be a game changer the way he is batting right now, minimum 60-70 runs powerplays easily if he remain notout during those overs, and specially would be very helpful on slow wickets.

Jadeja will play a massive role in this worldcup I can see everyone’s asking why is jadeja selected but he will be there when team needs him
More than anything else I don’t understand the need to select Axar see unless Jaddu is injured there is no need to play him in the team given that you play only two alrounders in squad and they play Hardik for sure. Rinku Singh needed to be in place of Axar and it seems to be more of Jay Shah’s recommendation than Rohit’s decision

Try getting 2 overs from Dubey if required and against right handed heavy top 6, play Chahal and left handed heavy 6 play Kuldeep
No way we can win the cup with this team. BCCI should take some tough challenges and pick the team. why we need Hardik? he is simply recommendation guy. It is very clear that Jay Sha is behind Hardik selection. No way this team will lift the cup.

Honestly for the first time, I am satisfied with team selection. Rinku isn't a bowler, thats the problem. You need 7 batsman and 6 bowlers. They need to have 2 all-rounders. So axar-jadeja, hardik-dubey been selected. India doesn't have many options for allrounder. KL rahul has done wonderful keeping in 50 over worldcup. 20 over keeping is way lot easier. He could have been a keeper option. But they feel sanju is more versatile than KL. While KL has proven ,how much versatile he is over the years . Playing at almost every down. But in test or one day. Not in t20s. It has to be anyone. Both are teriffic batters. I thought yashawi will not be there. But its seems like they have already decided to keep him as opener before IPL. Well! He gives left right combination and has different style of batting. There has been no impact sub concept. Otherwise Rinku would be there.
I am very happy ,they kept 4 spinners in options.
As most of the games of India is in Windies and its going to be a day game. Dew would not be a factor. Ball will grip. Those bouncy pitches. If ball turns. Its deadly for opposition.

We keep hearing IPL form being mentioned here and there. If IPL was considered, then why was Gaikwad ignored and why was Siraj picked. Looks like the wait keeps growing more and more for a ICC trophy.

fearlessnes is what has been lost in the Indian team. sehwag, yuvraj, dhoni, gambir, raina were fearless and were never bothered about their own records. The only person in the present team who is fearless is Kohli. Everybody else get shit scared in the semis or finals. Rohit Sharma' final match averages are below 10. Kl Rahul and Shikar dawan has the same average in finals.

kkr and gambhir totally destroyed Rinku's form by not making him play like csk did with dube ! Dube would not have been in travelling reserves as well if the team had been selected before ipl,but the lack of clarity in rinku's role in kkr really messed his form and his chances in to wx squad ! the guy averages 80 in t20 !! with SR over 170

The 2 star cricketers whose individual interest & their ego + stardom have cost India 2 WTC finals + 1 ODI WC + 2024 T20 WC. Perhaps after this WC exit, Agarkar & his team get the required courage to stand up to those 2 superstars & say "enough is enough", we would like to look beyond you guys & give opportunities to most deserving youngsters.
Not sure if this T20 WC failure is enough to overcome the importance attached to those superstars or we have to wait till next T20 or even next ODI WC exit.

Ans --> He doesn't play for popular franchise like RCB, MI or CSK, we only pick players from this quota, we dropped the death over specialist Natarajan because he plays for Hyderabad, no body gives a sh*t about Hyderabad, we're looking for insta models, Rinku is just a cricketer picking him makes no sense
Q2. Virat Kholi's strike rate isn't a concern?
Ans --> No it's not a concern, he has 250+ million followers do you have any idea the amount of viewership and money he brings. BCCI needs money, Good cricket and winning ICC tournaments is our last priority. As you see Vada Pav is smiling acting all cool, but once he faces real cricketing team like Australia or New Zealand his blue pant will turn yellow and he'll be crying in the corner and he'll have the similar face he had in Kapil Sharma show
Q3. Faith on Irreplaceable Hardik Pandya
Ans --> First of all I'm a shameless piece of sh*t to say Hardik is irreplaceable in a 140 million population cricketing playing nation, more over he's a captain of Ambani team who runs the circus IPL so it's a no brainer to drop him. I'm selector on papers in real I'm Hardik's personal slave, in fact Ambani is the one who got me this job, I'm just showing my faith to my master like a obedient dog
Q4. What makes Shivam Dube an X factor
Ans --> It saddens me to admit he's one of those who was picked purely on talent and performance, it was a heavy decision, and also if we loose we need a scapegoat to blame since Vadapav, Chokli, Harpic all have strong PR team we need few poor souls to put the blame on
Q5. Why was KL Rahul not picked?
Ans --> Because he forgets to bring his balls in important matches and looks painfully pathetic with a bat in hand

Ans --> That's a du*b question, he was not even fazed after loosing finals of the world cup do you think something like this will hurt him? he's soft and absorbent like the bread in Vadapav, no matter how much pudina chutney you put on the pav it'll absorb, just like Rohit absorbs all the criticism

Ans --> To be honest it was not our original plan, but this Chahal has been a real pain in the a**, we ignored him for so many years thinking he'll loose heart and stop performing, but he never stopped, and if we didn't pick him this time cricketing fans would have known about our business model, so to save our a**es we had to pick Chahal, I'm not a big fan of Chahal but to be honest again if Chahal was born in any other nation he would be a legend by now, but it's India you know what we do to the talented people (evil smile)

Q10. The Indian team still values experience?
Ans --> Looks at these clowns faces and look at Rohit's tummy, these jokers couldn't win sh*t in 13 years do you think their experience really matters? *Australia/ England/ Newzealand/ Pakistan/ south Africa --- wil be playing with 5 genuine witcket taking bowlers.
But India will play with -- 3 bowlers
1) Bhumra
2) kuldip
3) yezvendar

Shivam dube will failed miserably in this tournament and he’s not very brilliant bowler so of course he got selected as a batter not as all rounder they’re making same mistake what they made in back 2021 WC where they selected Venkatesh Iyer and Varun Chakraborty on the basis of IPL performance. Rinku is far better hitter and batter than Shivam.
Hardik, sky, Jadeja, Axar, Arshdeep all needed to be scrapped. Shittiest possible combo for a team. Gujarat-Mumbai influence in selecting a national side… Terrible.
