I know this video is a few years old but it’s still a great one! My son and I have embarked on a nerf modding journey and this was a fantastic starting project. We’re working our way up to printing an entire blaster. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into developing these prints and R&D for the barrel and inline mag. Not to mention the step by step videos!
It looks so good, thank you for providing the files for this! I'm just going to do a paint job and do the ball storage delete without converting to half darts. One tip for printing threaded parts, you can use different layer heights for the male and female threads to keep the layers from aligning when you screw together and binding up. For example printing the suppressor at 0.15 where you want a better finish, and the barrel clamp at 0.20 With that example only 1/60th of the layers are aligned, instead of every layer.
The tape and o-rings (as they appear in this video) are not enough to hold the barrel in place. The breech slamming open will dislodge the barrel over the course of a single game. You kinda need something extra to hold the inline clip in place. You could try wrapping a larger section of the inline clip in tape and hope the extra friction from a larger surface area will be enough.
@@ehdrien1094 well I've build an in line for short darts from elite short silencer, piece of tubing and electrical tape but this clip thing got me thinking... Same principal should apply for rival but I think it would reqire rather percise 3d printing of whole barrel... Still it would be nice ...
Do you have any idea why my plunger won't stay down? I pull it down ready to fire and it pops back up. I'm so frustrated. If you have any idea or tips it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an Etsy where you could sell these and is there an option to have no 3d printed parts

Where did you get the darts that you use for the modded knockout
Thank you so much for making this guide, just finished mine and it is fantastic!
Came out great! Can't wait to give this build a shot.
Thank you for this video. Mine sprang apart and couldn't take a picture of the internals. Great paint job, and organization
This is years later but if you do not put in the tube could you still fire standard rival rounds
Yoo could you use this inline Clip in like a strongarm so you have 2 half length darts instead of One full leangth
No it wouldn't fit
Is the 3d printed clamp necessary to keep the inline clip in place or will the tape and O-Rings keep it in pace?

@@ehdrien1094 thanks for replying.
Dude thats awesome
Would be possible to rig an internal mag for normal rival rounds using similar method?
I'm not sure. I don't know of any attempts to build an inline for rival.

I can't say for certain. Just double check all the small parts in the grip area are properly set in place
ehdrien thank you, Ive nearly got it, I know what it is but can't think how to secure it properly. Appreciate your response.
Hey I saw in the youtube comments that you live in Canada, I do too is there a way I can buy one from you? Please let me know
