Hi, just found your channel. Wow thats impressive full-time just in a Troopy, awesome set up though. We are finalising plans for full-time travel from April 2025 but we are going with a hybrid van but will have swag etc for doing those hard trails. Great advice regards servicing as we also don't have specific plans so will add this to our list of considerations.

Thanks for all the Q &A's. We've got a sandy 22 troopy and love it. The only thing we have been holding out on is the rear interior fitout. We think your layout through odyssey is exactly what we're looking for practically. Keep up the good work and safe travels.

They’re great vehicles hey. We’ve had a few friends go to Odyssey and replicate our fitout with a couple of their own tweaks. Toby and his team are perfectionists so you won’t go wrong if you go there. Cheers for following along.

Cheers Mate! There’s many ways to fit the Troopy out, this just seems to be working for us. Really appreciate your comments 😊👍🏼

@@EscapingCrowds I have the same fridge, I’m in wa as well, hopefully Odessy kept the plans 😆. forgot to ask, who did your electrical fitout?
      Cheers

@@StinkhoundRosie we’ve had 2 friends do the same fitout recently with a couple of their own tweaks so Toby is well across the plans for this one. They actually did the electrical as well as he was doing more of the additional work back then however I think now he’s concentrating on pushing through the cabinetry work as the extra stuff takes more time.
You could always ask what they will and won’t do now as I’m not 100% sure but my last 2 mates went elsewhere for electrical. Offroad Living in Wangara did one from memory.

Hi, I also have a troopy setup similar to yours, though not same fitout provider. Just to let you know I have Starlink and I made a bag for it, and it stows really neatly behind the passenger seat with the flat part of the dish snug against the fitout. So it’s no trouble to pack.. Also when you close it down you hit the ‘stow’ button and the leg of the dish flattens out quite a bit so it’s not as space occupying. Just FYI…

Hi Bev, thanks for the idea. We currently use that space for something else but it’s good to know that it can pack down slimmer when not in use. Food for thought 💭☺️

Do you guys think the troopy in the 2.8L Auto would be a good option ? Having an auto sounds good 😅
