This song is still an Anthem for all of us who loved, cried, felt heartbroken but yet lived life to its full exyent. Where ever hou are, what ever you do never forget to love.
Always was and always will be my favorite Scorpions tune. Those harmonies in the second verse… OMG that never gets old. This is my song to my Love, my Angel. In 22 years we’ve never been able to go off by ourselves. Not once. I promise you, my love, some day soon, we will have our Holiday.
Kids today to not touch in on this emotion...they are dumber down...its sad...We try to teach Jacob our young one at 17 and he is mesmerized at nothing on his phone (and wants RESPECT) to e be WORSHIPED)
Scorpions had a lot of great rockers, but I always loved their ballads. Klaus Meine’s voice is just so well suited for the slower, stripped down songs.
My wife bought me a T-shirt of this album cover and had it sewed on to my 70s Levi jean vest so I could wear wen I ride best one of the best gift I ever got.

I was a teenager in the 80s. All my greatest memories, best fun ever, my buddies from high school, my teen crush, the best years of my life: there is a Scorpions song that resumes each story. I got an actual denim jacket from the 80's, with my favorite rockers patches from that era. Yes, Scorpions is my top favorite. I've been offered money for my worn out, faded, old jacket; but I couldnt sell it. It smells, feels, and wears like if it was yesterday. ❤❤❤
It moves me that there are so many people who still remember and are moved by this wonderful band. I am 50 years old and I had the privilege of being at their concert and falling in love all over again with each and every sound
My first Scorpions album back in the 70s. I bought it for the heavy metal, but ended up liking the slow ballads like this song because they really showcased Klaus Meine's voice. So unique, I would recognize it anywhere, anytime.

Melancholic, especially the guitar part towards the end of the song. Sometimes I weep, thinking of the melody. It reminds me of some people I miss poignantly. In life there’s sorrow sometimes…
This song is on the same level as "Hotel California" or "Stairway to heaven". Not nearly as popular, but just as great. Should be one of Rock's biggest classics!
I went from UK to see Scorpions in Hannover in 2023 where they really are gods. Amazing concert and the next morning being up early walking around Hannover listening to this song soaking up the weekend spring time atmosphere. That was a very good time.
Scorpions don't get the respect from the music world that they so righteously deserve. Their complexity, nuance, and sparkling mix of acoustic 12 and 6-string guitars alongside Klause's angelic voice in this song, just shine like a diamond. Then comes an eruption of volcanic thunder. Oh, I just feel lt through my bones. I still remember buying the album and blasting it on my pos little system back in 1980 or so, laying on my bed and falling into like a dream state. I miss those days.
Songs are the soundtrack of our lives and this song reminds me of one of the most nostalgic nights when I was really young... still moves me to this day
I lived in Germany for 13 years because my dad was in the Army. I was exposed to the Scorpions when I met some great German friends and they turned me onto them. I would never have heard of them otherwise. It was a great time of my life and this album brings it all back.

The Lovedrive album was released in 1979 when I was 15. This song reminds me of carefree times growing up in Dyce, Aberdeen, when my friends and I though we were the coolest dudes on the planet (lang hair and ripped denim). It sadly makes me pine for the simpler less stressful world that was back then. Great song, fantastic album & wonderful memories.

O Ya how bout the 70s? , This came out in Feb 1979
