Thanks for warning people, Ian. :). i don’t know why people DO that?!!!! i always put a warning and space, if i can’t help myself not to say anything!! 💥
About the reflections early on in the story (great video btw, love the channel): If everything seems alike, the cognitive filter providing that homogeneity is likely coming from yourself. When everything seems gray, the gray is on your eyes. Having this self-criticism is important, especially in cases such as the acknowledgement of depression, for instance. Just something that crossed my mind when listening. Great narration!
Excellent job narrating this haunting thriller! =D This short story definitely sounds like it was written from the perspective of a homicidal misanthrope. And the ending made me question: “Did he really murder someone?”
Until the cops see your post then off to the clink with you my boy lol 😂 man people just can't stop bragging about there crimes online smh you sir are an evil genius lol
Be mindful of SPOILERS in the comments section, folks!

Thanks for warning! I hate the spoilers, I do!
This feels like a TIMELESS TALE. Great job on the narration and audio.
That was actually a very good story with an ending I did not see coming.
"I sure am glad I'm alone in this creepy old mansion," I said.
"Hey," said Murder Man.
(thought of this when i read the title, sorry)
Great story! And your narration makes it even better. Thanks!
Finally! A story I can relate to.
Outstanding as always many thanks Ian 🙂👍
Love it as always. Figured out the twist before the epilogue.
This one was a rare gem among obscure authors.
By the way, what happened to your rendition of Robert E. Howard's "Children of the Night"?
now I have a story for after work - thanks Ian
Yep, I save them for my daily walk.
Wow! This was epic. I'm speechless. Thank you.
"Poor, fang-drawn, impotent device" That was very well done :)
I love that twist at the end. Fantastic, thank you 🙏🏽. I’ve only been a sub for two or three months. I have alot of catching up to do.

for a story so old it seems a bit fitting for todays horror

Well that was intense. Holy balls.
Descriptive story! Thanks Ian!
interesting tale. . .
so well written, eerie audio, and, of course, the incredible Horror Babble narration. :) 🗡️🥀🌒
Fantastic. Brought to kind the game Stanley Parable, but far more somber
Good one 👍 Thank you for the narration 🙂
What a dark little tale.
Many thanks 🙏
Remarkable.
It is the perfect murder.
Loved the end!! Thanks!
What a great ending! The story went from being (in my mind) "meh" to "Oh! Well done!"
I really liked this one! I'm going to listen again right now.
Truly amazing!
Didn't see that one coming
This was excellent.
Listening from the ukwales❤
There seemed to be so many clever writers around in this era?
Love the background music 🌊💜
Murder Man, take me by the hand... 😂
I could tell the ending coming half way through, didn't mean it still ain't good
Didn't see that coming
I have been devouring your Cthulhu videos and I have a question. Are the mad Arab and his Necronomicon real? Thankyou x
I'm sure there are one or two people out there who BELIEVE them to be real...!
HB is the best. This one kinda reminds me of an Algernon Blackwood story called Max Hensig, it's a good one if you ever feel like covering it.
Would love so much for Horror Babble to do Max Hensig, one of my favorite stories!
The perfect killing indeed.
❤️
I suspected what would happen when it said the age of the victim
2nd of many😃
❤🔥
First....of many
I did the perfect crime today. I did 31 in a 30 and got clean away with it! Hahahhahahhahha
Hahahhahahhahhahahhahahhahhahahhahahhahhahahhahahhahhahah...........
You absolute fiend.
Until the cops see your post then off to the clink with you my boy lol 😂 man people just can't stop bragging about there crimes online smh you sir are an evil genius lol
Contain yourself sir!
Oh i get it now. Lol
Tuesday
The great new super hero, murder-man!
Excellent narration, as always.
I'm not a fan of the background sound. It sounds technically well done, but I don't think it adds.
I thought it was quite predictable.
Did he kill himself? I was listening while at the gym and feel like I missed something haha
