Yeah! I finally decided after watching a bunch of your videos especially this one. Yamaha PSR-EW310 won. Looks, price, solid brand and 76 keys. Thank you for your super good videos!
I bought E463 on yesterday with very reasonsable price $300 us near Seoul in Korea. Actually, I would buy E473 the latest but there is not yet in my country! Thank you very much for your effort to choose with my satisfaction!
So basically only differences are that the EW-410 is bigger (more keys, heavier, more sampling) it is has better sound (better speakers, better Grand Piano voice) and it's more expensive. Anything missing there?
I have recently retired and now i have the time to finish some midi projects . Here is what I have now About 200 gm style 16 track midis I need to do a final mix down from flash drives A rather old midi software on a very old Sony laptop with vista ( embarrassed to admit) from 30 plus years of music writing ( will not connect with keyboard due to driver issues ) plus it just crashes all the time A 11.9 inch second generation iPad Pro with 256 gigs on it… I love it Multitracker software on the iPad. And all the connecting cables. I have a Yamaha Psr -ew410 All the mikes , cables , and multi USB ports needed fo iPad production (camera device and midi cable ) I can purchase cuebase 3. For the iPad but can’t afford a windows based windows 10 computer at this stage . I play guitar , piano and keyboards. Will the current set up of iPad , Yamaha , iPad and midi files work in concert with each other ... as a last comment I have large hands and big fingers that are counter productive for touch screen piano keyboards ... I am spoiled with actual piano keys Here’s what I would like to do ...find a software that would accept gm style midi files Load them into my iPad , edit minor and some major flaws out of them Play them into my ew410 ... and record out of that ... I also have a digital recorder and small mixing board .... it is important I can change the individual sound ( ie piano sound to guitar ect) If you could recommend a software and any settings I have to make the Yamaha ew410 work in concert with my iPad Worse case scenario I could buy a cheap windows 10 based laptop and software if I have to but I have a 256 gig iPad Pro 12.9 inch second generation that I would really like to use Any help would be appreciated!
Hi Jeremy, my friend, looking for a keyboard for restarting to the music. I’m 42 and played when teenager on a Yamaha Psr-400 (the old one :-) I loved it. Now. Psr or Ex-20? Don’t want to pay a lot for a keyboard now. Thank you, Rodrigo
Just bought an EW410 last week. The 76 keys and the louder speakers are really worth the price diffference. Today prices for E463 is 330$ and EW410 is 470$ (without tax, need to add tax about 9% in California , USA). I was lucky to get a second hand (about 6 month old), for about half price. Very happy with this buy. I compare the speakers of my EW410 with another E463 put next to it. The EW410 fills my living room (20 ft x 25 ft), while the E463 needs a PA. Abd the piano sounds is better too. My wife loves it so much she declares its hers now.
Jeremy, can you explain in depth the difference between the grand piano sound in the PSR-E463 and EW410? I love my E463 keyboard and I don’t want to be turned down because of this unexplained difference.
there is also a function exclusively for the psr ew410. I believe its the speaker mute function as I don't see it on the psr e463 according to the manual

Hello Mr. Jeremy..i wanna ask about this EW410..if i wanna record my own instruments directly into a Notebook is it possible with this EW410? Thank you very much
Sir I tried get aux input through my keyboard into my headphones (i inserted my aux into the port and then connected my headphones in tht usual output jack). The sound isnt coming proper. I too have yamaha psre453. Could you please check whether its a fault of the Keyboard or the model?
Hi Jeremy, I, choosing between the 410 and a or Kross 2, ignoring MIDI din, do you have any advice please, as in my country they are a similar price. Just trying to get something which is good value for money and to learn and grow on. Thank you kindly any advice would be lovely thank you for your videos
Hi, just to inform you, I may be wrong, but, the Yamaha PSRE 463, has the exact same piano sample on each of the E-series of keyboards, however, on the 453, and 463, the lower notes of the piano sample are different. If you actually hear the EW series, is the exact same sample as 003, on each of these keyboards. For example, from a Sharp to, down to see one, the piano sample is almost like the PSRS, series of keyboards. What they are doing with the EW series, is resampling 003 on the E series of keyboards, however, making the 003, modulate. When you hold down the keys, they modulate however, on the PSRE453, and 463, they do not.
Hi jeremy , does any of these keyboards have semi weighted keys ? If not , what is the cheapest yamaha keyboard that have semi weighted keys and can also be used as MIDI ?
Thank you so much! I think I'll go for the 410, but my question is, should I go for one with 88 keys? I looked on your reviews, and I couldn't find one that suits me, I want one with a lot of sounds, that has good quality and I can connect to my pc, but that I won't have to break the bank for. The 410 seems the best one but I wonder if those 12 keys would make a big difference
Hi there, yes i am torn between both models as looking to self teach myself piano whilst continuing to song-write, so probably the EW410 makes better sense. I self taught myself guitar and am thus of course a song writer who feels certain compositions need at least a piano sounding device to give them their full potential! Price wise isn't an issue, just looking 4 a great keyboard that gives me a decent piano sound and other features already included in the PSR-E463. You already appear to have indicated the EW410 is best for piano learning purposes? But my next, most important question is regards power consumption as both seem able to operate from an adaptor plugged into a socket (even though the E463 appears to also support batteries), hence my key question..was wondering how energy efficient both keyboards were, I can't imagine they use a great deal through casual use, but what about if using as an instrument to learn a new skill (as in piano which would take a good number of hours of practise) !!??? Great vid and looking 4ward to a gr8 reply, kind regards. Ian p.s, Just to add I would not be learning keyboard or rather piano from scratch, my first instrument was what was considered a half decent keyboard at the time (1992, can't recall model, lol) and learned then the basics including most chords with or without accompaniment (still remember some of it thru muscle memory), and whenever had the privilege of sitting in front of a grand piano, been told I have an ear for music, whatever that means, which by know means is me bragging but just making u aware I ain't a complete novice in the art of piano/keyboard playing which may influence your advice (and perhaps therefore make u advise me to go 4 the EW410 after-all), so really all I am concerned about is power consumption, lol. Cheers .

However, I do like both of the piano samples. On the E series and the 76 note EW series. The 76 note EW series, is like the white PG keyboards piano sample

Hi Jeremy! Thanks for sharing all these informative videos. I have a question, On The Yamaha PSR-E463, Can I connect it to my DJ Sound System? Thanks in Advance
It's fine for beginner. It's actually capable on a stage should you ever form a band. Then later on you may want to upgrade but it's good enough for beginner to playing live some. If you get really good then upgrade! Good Luck!
I am not a music shop with 20 differeny keyboards in front of me to make videos. There is no shortage of EW410 demo videos and E463 videos to compare sounds. I am giving my experience after playing both keyboards.
@@JeremySee thank you for your response! I'm planning to get one since I need to perform for our school and I still don't have a keyboard to perform with
Hi Jeremy Been watching your vids for a while keep up the good work! Can I have a bit of advice roughly in line with the above. I am currently considering getting an arranger keyboard for a bit of fun. Like the look of the PSR-E463 as it's fairly new here not many used ones so a new one would run to about £250. For not much more money around the £300 I could get a good quality used PSR S670. Is this as much of a no brainer as it looks??
If you don't use the Groove Creator and the quick sampling feature, the S670 styles can be upgraded from the web with all the E463 styles. For fun, E463. For more serious playing, S670.
Hi, very useful comparison. 😎 Two remarks: - There is another important difference between the two keyboards: the PSR E463 can be operated on batteries, whereas the PSR EW410 can’t. This point is to be taken into consideration if you intend to play on places where there is no electricity, during a party on the beach for instance. - It would be great if you could do a comparison between the Grand Piano voice of the PSR E463 and the much better Live! Grand Piano of the PSR EW400. That way, people could really decide if the quality of the piano sound matters or not. It should also be said that the PSR EW410 and its little brother the PSR EW300 (which is exactly the same keyboard as the PSR E363, excepted that it has 76 keys instead of 61) are the two only arranger keyboards with 76 keys under the 500$ range. All other arrangers with 76 keys are much more expensive: you have to buy either a Yamaha Genos or a Korg PA4x, which both are very expensive.
Thanks for watching. Do subscribe and thumbs up the videos. There is no dedicated panel sustain function. You can increase the release rate and it will be the same effect as panel sustain.
I watched your videos. You are using a keyboard for piano. It is better to get a proper graded hammer weighted keyboard for playing piano. Wait for my video.
@@JeremySee I must reply, regarding the Roland EA-7, - i dont think it is "dated", it has ca.1500 sounds, and over 600 styles onboard, and everything is expandable on it, just to load new sounds and styles via a USB-stick! - seems you dont know it? ;) - its fully programmable too -- i HAD the Roland VA-7, THATS an18 years old keyb, but still beats many modern keybords of today, i changed to the EA-7, because the VA-7 is pretty heavy to take on gigs, about 15kg, and the EA-7 is only 8kg! - i could have bought a Tyros, or the Genos, but i am not interested in them, i am not short of the money - i had a Tyros 3, but sold it quickly, - simply didnt like it -- and got the VA-7! - ben playing these boards around 30y now, and have owned maybe hundreds of them ;) - i just recommended the Yammy 410 you also tested to a friend, - he ordered it - he is a beginner on keys, but it was still an upgrade from his old casio 3300, - all the best from Levi in Sweden, -- Happy Music! --
Roland's strength is in their synth and modules. The EA-7 is a great board, but the reality of TH-cam is that if I buy an EA-7 to make videos, I will be spending time making videos on EA-7 that few will watch. 😥

GET MONEY HOZEA I'm looking at both keyboards get money and just wondering do you think the kross is a better keyboard ignoring the MIDI on the Korg Kross. I am considering either keyboard is in my country they are both the same price do you recommend the cross over the PSR ew410 please I'm new so I'm learning
I really need help. It's complicated so it will be quite long, sorry 😅. I am just a beginner and I don't know what to buy. I really want a keyboard that has a lot of functions, but that will last for a longer time. I don't want to spend money on a beginner keyboard and then later buy a better one. Currently I can't decide between yamaha mx61 and psr ew410. Mx 61 is more pricey and has more functions. But I don't want to be a professional musician. This is just for, let's say a hobby.
I have 2 questions. what about connecting a singing microphone to E463 or EW410. Is that only on the EW410 by the output and a amplifier? Second, what about connecting a bluetooth earphones to E463 or EW410. Possible on both models? Thanks haven't decided with model who is best for me yet.
Despite similarities, the EW410 possesses a slightly more superior sound processors and speakers. The EW410's piano sound (001) can defeat Casio CT-X, while E463 cannot But still, both have mediocre Rhodes sounds
If you guys don't want you keyboards cuz you already got a new one, just kindly give it to me 😭😭😆😆 *not kidding HAHAHAHA I can only watch reviews but cannot buy tho 😂 Life is so sad.

Vinciane, the PSR-EW410 can now run on batteries. You have to use the higher capacity D-sized batteries though.
Jeremy See 🤭🤭🤭
Can we record, edit and make a loop in our laptops with ew410
Yes you can.
@@JeremySee thanks
@@JeremySee one more question is there any function in yamha e463 which is not in yanha ew410 or vice versa
Does Yamaha psr ew410 has a sustain built in?
Thanks for watching. Do subscribe and thumbs up the videos.
There is no dedicated panel sustain function. You can increase the release rate and it will be the same effect as panel sustain.
Already subscribed sir. Is it worth the price? B'cos I'm planning to buy 76keys keyboard but maybe there is something better than this.
If you want to buy to learn to play like a real piano, I will be making a review on an interesting Yamaha product next week.
OMG. Thank you sir. 😊 I'll wait.
I watched your videos. You are using a keyboard for piano. It is better to get a proper graded hammer weighted keyboard for playing piano. Wait for my video.
Have you tested the Roland EA7?
It's kinda dated.
Jeremy See ok, but sounds good.. 😉
@@JeremySee I must reply, regarding the Roland EA-7, - i dont think it is "dated", it has ca.1500 sounds, and over 600 styles onboard, and everything is expandable on it, just to load new sounds and styles via a USB-stick! - seems you dont know it? ;) - its fully programmable too --
i HAD the Roland VA-7, THATS an18 years old keyb, but still beats many modern keybords of today, i changed to the EA-7, because the VA-7 is pretty heavy to take on gigs, about 15kg, and the EA-7 is only 8kg!
Jeremy See your target is beginners, i know, they are good, but i have passed those boards a long time ago! 😉 have a great time with what you feel lis great for you, and so will i do! 😉😊 Levi in Sweden, Happy Music!
How it was
merci
I'M GETTING THE PSR-EW410....MORE KEYS ....THEN LATER ON (1YEAR LATER) I'M GETTING A KORG KROSS 2 WITH 88 KEYS !!
Just get the ModX7. Best for the price if not rich.
EW410 is an arranger. MX61 is a keyboard. Both are different categories.
@@JeremySee oh... sorry. I didn't know that. Like I said I'm still getting into everything. Would mx61 then be a better choice?
is psr e463 good to use in anglican church
Yes
I have 2 questions. what about connecting a singing microphone to E463 or EW410. Is that only on the EW410 by the output and a amplifier? Second, what about connecting a bluetooth earphones to E463 or EW410. Possible on both models? Thanks haven't decided with model who is best for me yet.
Please review world style of psr e463
Chow chow chow de técnicas inigualáveis..
absolute beginner, ew410 or e363/e463?
If you have the budget, EW410
And which one is better between Yamaha I455 and yamaha ew410
EW410
Thank you so much for answering
Having a last question
Which one will you recommend between i455 and e463.?
E463
PSREW300 vs NP32
first to see
Despite similarities, the EW410 possesses a slightly more superior sound processors and speakers.
The EW410's piano sound (001) can defeat Casio CT-X, while E463 cannot
But still, both have mediocre Rhodes sounds
Who Is better ctx 5000/ Ew410/ pax4?
And is the piano as good as the p45?
Yamaha psr 300
If you guys don't want you keyboards cuz you already got a new one, just kindly give it to me 😭😭😆😆 *not kidding HAHAHAHA
I can only watch reviews but cannot buy tho 😂 Life is so sad.
PSR WE410.... Sold! Actually, I only play it like a piano. Need sampler, battery, and extra keys for gospel songs.
Xtra keys will be useful!
