I'm confused between buying Yamaha PSR EW410 and Yamaha PSR EW310. My priority is a rich piano sound. Has EW410 updated their Grand Piano tone? Please let me know which one would be better for a Grand Piano. Thanks
I bought one for my wife after watching this video so we can practice our worship songs upstairs in our house, or play tunes while entertaining guests. She has a large, heavy Yamaha weighted key electric piano as well as a couple uprights downstairs in her studio. This became a practical no-brainer for our purposes. Love the sounds and features for the price point.
I'm a beginner musician, it's been 20 yrs since I played an instrument (piano and violin). I starting all over again and have been reviewing videos to find the right keyboard within my budget. I came across your videos and it help me decided on buying the PSR-EW410. Thanks for the education.
I've been watching lots of reviews, however I keep coming back to yours as they are most comprehensive and easy to understand and follow. I've just had delivered today the PSR EW410 after much deliberation. Now to learn to play it!!!
It's indeed quite unique and I was almost tempted of getting it instead of going full weighted P-125 but the P125 won me on the piano sound and key feel. I tried the EW410 and it essentially felt like a E463 with 76 keys. Speakers are not as good the PSR-S series so I thought maybe I'll save up some more for the S series.
Two live control knobs, I wish there is an option for left one to control style volume and the right one to control the right hand keyboard volume. As it is now, only the left one can be set to be volume balance !!! I really want one EW410 to play as an electric piano where an acoustic piano is not available. The E463 is a bit too narrow for that. 3 days later, I bought a second hand EW410, still as new, for 60% of brand new price. My wife loves it. I found a so simple way to plug a microphone in the AUX in , plays, sings and record audio on this keyboard. At max volume, its speakers sound very loud in my huge living room (25 ft x 20 ft). No need to plug in my PA system.
Thanks for this video! It has arrived in the best moment for me, as this keyboard was in my shortlist together with Korg EK-50 and Casio CT-X5000. In my case, this video has helped me to remove this keyboard from my shortlist. Will try to visit a music shop to see the EK-50 and the CT-X5000. Even being a complete beginner, complex user interface in the Casio is something I would accept, as I like a lot the quality of the voices, and in general, voices and styles seem to me more "modern" than the ones in the Korg. I guess final word will be on the keybed... I need to try it myself. Again, thanks a lot for all the effort you put on this channel. It is great to get such a big amount of information in a single channel. Well done!
Hi there i always love watching all your videos because i find them very helpful and interesting and it helps me make designs on what i am getting and i also subscribed recently
I just hope that EW420 / E473 brings fundamental sounds for live performances, such as the genuine Suitcase (Rhodes) electric piano, better grand piano samples and lastly, less XGLite to make room for better samples Other thing I want for the next 400 series is the same screen interface as DGX-660
I think what you should do is a little demo of the piano sound of Yamaha EW410 and E463 so others could here the difference between the sound because I can’t seem to identify it..
No difference. The only difference is the E463 has 61 keys, and the EW410 has 76. The interface, capabilities, sounds, polyphoney, etc ... all the same. Even the key physics action is the same. If you plan on playing a lot of intermediate or advanced piano pieces get the EW410, otherwise the extra cost probably isn't worth it (unless you have $ to burn).
Definitely the EW410. I just got one and this is the best below 500$. Friends who have sung with me playing Tyros and Genos all say the EW410 is a great keyboard for home parties. Tip: get a wireless portable karaoke microphone ,around 30$, and connect it to the AUX IN using standard audio cable,, and you can sing and record on this keyboard.
Hi Jeremy. I am wondering which one is better Yamaha PSR-EW410 or the Roland GP10. Please share your views on what will be a better choice for a beginner.
I got this keyboard at the beginning of last year, it is great, could use a few more features like recording multiple layers, but it's nothing attaching a PC to it cannot resolve.
I've never needed more than 2 layers to fatten up a sound. Note that you have all these envelope parameters too (effects) to also fatten up a sound. You could also run a midi straight into another tone module to fatten it up.
Hello Jeremy. Congratulations (and thanks) for the video. I bought a PSR-EW410, here in Rio, Brazil, about 3 months ago. I still don't know if I would have done a better deal buying the Wk7600 (the 76-key version of the CTK7200). I would like to see your comparison between the two models.
very good keyboard indeed. Yamaha has done well at their pricing point and marketing strategy as the EW410 is the top for intermediate level keyboards. But just my opinion, the price is not worth the extra features built-in the EW410 so I will just stick with the E463 instead. Both keyboards share the same sound database.
Hey Jeremy I've been thinking about getting this ew410 for the longer key bed, and I watched your video on the new ew310/373. I was wondering if you've heard any rumor of Korg coming out with a budget (ek-50 price/feature) arranger keyboard with a longer bed? I've thought about getting ek-50. I have a pa600 but wanted something less expensive I could take in the car on vacation or to a friends house.
Love your videos Jeremy!... keep up the good work and also how many years would the Yamaha psr ew 410 gonna last? Please reply, would help and if it last for a long long time, I might buy it !

Hello Jeremy - Thanks so much for your great videos. Yamaha DGX660 and PR-EW410 which one choose in term of sound quality, feel, cosmetics, features and price if I can buy one at $200 price difference ?
Hi Jeremy! Thanks for the useful videos! I am in the process of trying to choose between Yamaha PSR-EW410 and Rolland BK-3 keyboards since they are in an approximately same price range (even though the Rolland BK-3 is a far more old model - I liked how it sounds). The Yamaha model for me has an advantage of having 76 keys while the Rolland model has 61. But on the other hand it has only 48-note polyphony while the Rolland model has polyphony of 128 notes. Could you please suggest which of these two parameters (amount of keys vs the polyphony characteristic) is more important - taking into account plans to also play classical music as well as modern (pop and similar) music? P.S. Is the Grand Piano voice in Yamaha PSR-EW410 a stereo sound? Because I found out that if a voice on the keyboard is a stereo sound it will count as at least 2 sounds when a note is played so the polyphony capabilities of a keyboard will practically be divided by 2. Which doesn't sound like a good news in case of a 48-note polyphony. Would be very grateful if you'd help out with your opinion.
48 note polyphony is enough for 98% of stuff. Even if using a full orchestra of sounds, you use "sections" instead of instruments ... you'd be surprised. Even an audiophile won't hear drop offs with 48 notes being played at once. 128 is way overkill. Only get 76 keys if you do a bunch of piano and you're at least intermediate in skill. Yes, the EW410 grand is stereo. Most of the sounds probably are not. Again, it's doubtful that even with the busiest sounding song you'll notice a difference. Nobody will.

I've waited for a month since you have announced the E373! This is just taking forever. Is there a big difference between E373 and EW410 besides the number of keys? Or I should just buy EW410?
@@JeremySee Thank you for responding so fast. I wish Yamaha would be as fast as you. I hope it is worth waiting for E373 because the EW410 drops with price.
I am majorly disappointed with the display. My Yamaha children’s piano had that layout in 2002. Very disappointed that even low grade keyboards are still using lcd and not led. It’s time to retire some low tech.
I have the Casio WK6600 and I’m not completely happy with it. I’m looking at getting the Yamaha EW410 to replace the Casio. I think the quality of the sounds is better on the EW410.
For all the different sounds that are on their can you change their parameters (alter their sound bass, treble, mid etc) Another thing, imagine I have a set list, say 10 songs can I save multiple songs that within then have multiple sound saved in banks so a button can be clicked rather than scrolling for the sound I want? Kind of like the Push2?
hello Jeremy I just bought this piano I would like to know with which button to change song by song so as not to damage it, and I know, Is there a way I can contact you on ig or fb?

Could you please compare this main piano sound vs p121 piano variation 1. I think it's same piano samples.
Thank you
It is the same.
@@JeremySee which one better do you think
@@PakBudiTarigan "same" means "same". One isn't better.
I've waited for a month since you have announced the E373! This is just taking forever. Is there a big difference between E373 and EW410 besides the number of keys? Or I should just buy EW410?
I don't control Yamaha. It is already shipping in the USA.
@@JeremySee Thank you for responding so fast. I wish Yamaha would be as fast as you. I hope it is worth waiting for E373 because the EW410 drops with price.
korg m50 is best???
Does it record?
Now available in india
I am majorly disappointed with the display. My Yamaha children’s piano had that layout in 2002. Very disappointed that even low grade keyboards are still using lcd and not led. It’s time to retire some low tech.
Does the keyboard's keys feels too plastic or small for a good piano player?
Mr. See how much is yamaha ew410
Price is different for every country.
Which one is better
Yamaha psr ew410 or Casio wk6600?
I have the Casio WK6600 and I’m not completely happy with it. I’m looking at getting the Yamaha EW410 to replace the Casio. I think the quality of the sounds is better on the EW410.
Lovely but u dont show us what buttons u are pressing ,book is not much help. Thank u
Bro did u use sustain pedal here? I've already ordered one
Yes
For all the different sounds that are on their can you change their parameters (alter their sound bass, treble, mid etc)
Another thing, imagine I have a set list, say 10 songs can I save multiple songs that within then have multiple sound saved in banks so a button can be clicked rather than scrolling for the sound I want? Kind of like the Push2?
Which have good deep piano voice Yamaha PSR EW-410 or Yamaha PSRe-463 ?
Help me I'm confused!
They're identical. Only the number of keys is different. Definitely the best piano of all all the sub-$500 keyboards, all brands.
Psr i500 vs EW 410
Sir which piano will better yamaha psr e 463 or yamaha psr ew410?
They're the same exact piano, but EW410 has more keys. That's all.
Have you played an Indian song in this???
hello Jeremy I just bought this piano I would like to know with which button to change song by song so as not to damage it, and I know, Is there a way I can contact you on ig or fb?
Jeremy you can play! Buying a keyboard. Watching all your reviews. Thinking about Numa 2X plus 88 keys 3 engines: organ sliders battery.
That Numa is a beast!
