Why Are Nigerians In The Diaspora So Rich?

Nigeria is the most popular African nation by far and its foreign citizens are amongst the most successful. All over the world, from the Americas to Europe, from Asia to Australia, there is simply no continent on earth where you wouldn’t find Nigerians. It is even often said that if you look beneath any rock at any corner on earth, there you’ll find at least one Nigerian.
Nigerians don’t just live in these places, they thrive. Often touted as Nigeria’s most valued export are its citizens whom are scattered throughout the world in every nook and cranny of this planet, making their mark and making their homeland proud as well as admittedly bringing disgrace on a few occasions.
However, to fully understand the reason behind Nigerians in the diaspora’s wild success, it’s important to understand the three basic categories of Nigerians and I’m sure many Nigerians will relate well to this. By the way, I’m talking about the good, the bad and the outrageous categories of Nigerians.
Let us start with the good Nigerians.
Good Nigerians can be characterized by their genuine God-Fearing demeanor, they are either genuinely God-fearing or deeply religious. These Nigerians uphold rules and are generally ethical in conduct. To put things into perspective, these are not Nigerian autocrats or high society. They are normal everyday Nigerians who simply loathe the indiscriminate, mindless elitist mindset that is responsible for Nigeria’s misdemeanor abroad.
These people are your dream chasers who want nothing more but to contribute to the society they’re in. But as you’ll soon find out, when it comes to Nigeria and its citizens there’s a huge discrepancy between the different classes of society. Without further ado let’s move on to the bad Nigerians.
