Thats a nice color, really glows with the silver undercoat! i appreciate the fast forward walk thru of the custom ;) shows what to do, what it could look like, and the basic process to get there, and im nodding my head to the music the whole time im absorbing the info ;)
Paint looks like it's from Mattel itself (at least on camera, probably better in person). Very well put together. Not a chopy mod at all! I can't wait to start modding these things myself.(after I've been collecting for 5 years. Yeah.. I'm not touching those.)
Thanks for the comment. I've been slowly customizing some of my hot wheels that I've had for years! With a lot of practice you get more comfortable in drilling them apart for real riders or details. Good luck!
Auto body guy here. Fyi, Plastic does not require primer. Primer is used for three purposes, to cover small imperfections, provide a sandable surface to prep for paint and most importantly so paint will stick to metal. Awesome build bro 👍

What paint stripper do find works the best for the diecast ? Just started doing customs would love to show you a couple pics but don’t know how on here . Awesome video .
The truck is Awsume Dude! shoulda painted chrome bed though. i may steal you're idea & do one like this. i have several of these faded paint, & decaled '56 trk's, because i saw you do another where you changed wheels only ( Red).
Couple of tips maybe..............40 yr bodyman here only.........the 3M panel bond will never let loose. Expensive but,... For your frt leafs on a gasser... maybe try cotter pins as leaf springs and a small rollpin for an axle housing. Rollpin goes through the eyelets of the cotter pins. Glue it up. Panel bond cures in 24-48 hrs, so any excess can be pushed through and shaped in an hour. Or drill it through.
IronCross - that's a good idea man I'm going to have to try that one day. I have a huge list of customs and video ideas I want to do still but I'll add this tip to my list. I have tubing and rods to make custom axles. I like the correr pin idea. Will give you a shout out for that 😎👍🏽
