A History of Suramar and the Nighthold [Lore Video]

- After many months of preparation, the time to assault the Nighthold has finally come! We, the Keepers of the Lost Codex, have prepared a special debriefing on the city's history, as well as the foes and allies you are likely to encounter.
From the glorious days of the Kaldorei Empire to the devastating end of the War of the Ancients, we'll explore the long history of Suramar and the pivotal role it played in both the Legions first and most recent invasion.
Settle in as we journey ten thousand years into the past...

Reminds me of the actually INTERESTING player variations. There's an Illidammit and a Illidamnson running around. if I see an orc warlock named Guldammit I will laugh my ass off.

A new lore channel is always nice.
By the light, I have shivers. This video is wonderful!
So you have a shield around your city that protected you the 1st time the Legion came knocking, it protected you from the devastation of the Cataclysm when the entire continent was ripped apart, but now the Legion comes back and says "Lower the shield or we'll kill you all..." and you all of the sudden lose faith in your shield?? Wtf Elisande?
Maybe they feared the realization of their loved ones being killed? Maybe they were scared? Or was sick of being sealed away and wanted to explore?
The answer is the arcway. Though 10 millennia had blocked many tunnels under Suramar, it opened up just as many faults and weak points that their shield didn't or couldn't cover. Many quests show the Legion had already found their ways into those passages which led straight up to the civilian quarters. The best option Elisande had was to concede for now until she found a time way where she could save her people.

All I can say? Amazing. Simply, amazing. Please keep this up, the presentation and synopsis is phenomenal. If you ever get bored, maybe you could do old raids as well?

no thank you, sounds like the easy choice since they are basically nightelves with darker skin.... unless they comes with a new "spellblade", "astromancer" or "time manipuator" class that is
Spellblade would be a really cool 4th mage spec, and I like the idea of a time mage as well but that kind of crosses too much onto arcane's identity imo.
a name well I think they should be a separate classes, not new specs

The only reason there was no recaps for this one was because it was a stand-alone. The recap just gives us a space to put a link to put previous video and tie in some themes that are going to be relevant in the new video :D

Loved it :P also why couldn't the night born leader ask the alliance and horde for help? instead of turning and becoming part of the legion.
I think it was before we arrived on the Broken Isles. Plus, seeing as they'd sealed themselves off for so long, they probably became very xenophobic.

actually they literally thought everything outside the shield was a barren lifeless wasteland by now. they never even knew who really won the war ( or all the wars that followed ).
Killing others in Suramar, stopping Sargeras from saving the universe, etc.
You are NOT a hero. You are the real villain of the universe.
You help me to understand the game and what a fabulous story it is. I don't understand why everyone doesn't follow this channel. Nobbel is a nice guy but he puts he to sleep, and there is too much scattered all over the internet to read it all.
