In your video how talented the monkey due to your excelent training and the monkeys should be loved. TKS for this video especially I have coconut plantation in Mindanao,Philippines.
Pig tail monkeys (PTM), are definitely more intelligent than LTM (long Tail Monkeys). If I was a little bit younger and ealthier, for sure, I'lol retired in a country where it's possible to have a macaque as a pet. But in France (of course) it's forbidden, even you can be a good owner. On the other hand, to have hundreds or thousands of these little monkeys in small despicable cages, for "scientific works" which end with death, there it is legal! Find the mistake! (There is one of those labs that depend on MERCK SHARP & DOHME-CHIBRET, which used monkeys and rabbits about 30 years ago near my home, I do not know if it's still case, in which case it is "discreet, but legal." And an individual may have scorpions or venomous snakes, but not a small macaque of a few hundred grams.
These clever monkeys can b trained to release kidnapped persons.also they can even b trained to assist d special commandos in secretly delivering arms n ammunitions in d scenario of a commando held captive.
Just ran across this video. This is awesome! The monkey is in good spirits, good energy, good shape, not being attacked by the others etc.... More than l can say for the wild monkeys l see in other videos.
This foolish argument. In good spirits, good shape? It's chained by the neck, has NONE of its needs met. Most every video you see is orchestrated by the VOs to cause fighting
It is better to train something important, other than kill them as tree rats They breeds more in human habitats than in wild. Their life span not over 10-15 in wild . But trained monkeys live more than han 20 years. Good practice to them in coconut 🥥 industry. In Sri Lanka, it is very difficult to protect coconut cultivation from macaques.consider as pest, but Farmers hesitate to kill them. Due to Buddhist culture. Also very high labour costs for coconut plucking. But this monkey business is good, but need to keep them healthy and low in stress, due to macaques are highly social animals.🇱🇰
Monkey are very territorial . They likely would run off and attack other people . It could be days before it would decide to come back. . They will come back if they have been raised correctly but only when they are tired of exploring .
Every year my parents would buy me a new pet monkey and I had 2 monkeys for a couple of weeks. Then they would tell me a story and go put the older monkey "in the wood" . Year after year, I never had a monkey that was over the age of 2. My brother trained them to walk on 2 feets, it sometimes took 2 months until they would be able to run or walk on 2 feets all day long. My brother was always hitting the monkeys, for no reason and he started hanging them by the neck with their hands tied behind their backs really early, they were maybe 5 weeks old when he started the training and by the time they were 6 years old, their legs were so strong they could walk and carry heavy backpacks.
Uh... Ryder, those monkeys were not dead, they were sold to people who used them much as this one, to work on farms. In America, we were once dependent on horses to pull plows, carry us and do farm work. I can assure you, these monkeys that didn't stay past 2 were probably much like families that raise and train young puppies basic obedience and then go on to guide dog training.
why you sad when you see people and animal can live together, share happiness, love each other. These famer love them monkey like son/dougther. These monkey can do several thing include help them self from dangerous situation. Maybe you also sad when see blind-dog, horse, and never drink cow-milk.
These monkeys are loved and taken care of. Monkeys don't understand the concept of "work", so to them it's fun and they enjoy always being with their owners because they see them as part of their family. Monkeys love to climb and jump from tree to tree as well. It would be sad if he left the monkey home alone all day. These monkeys get to spend all day outside climbing trees and doing what monkeys love to do. That man also works just as hard as his monkeys.
This guy has no empathy. He would be a better trainer if he could teach (not force) the creature to assist him without ropes or chains. It would take longer, but slavery is immoral. He does seem to treat it reasonably well, and it looks well fed.
That rope on there necks is what i hate they are not Dogs if they train them well train them to stay come you call them i hope they get rewarded after there hard work
The difference here is dogs are domesticated and have no desire to return to the wild. A monkey is still a wild animal that might try to escape despite training.
This is so sad, i understand that in this particular video the trainer does not physically harm the monkey but it’s still not okay tho.Forcing an animal to work for you so you could profit off of it, not okay. Animals are living beings who deserve rights and should not be used for slavery, can’t even image the stress their under, so upsetting 😕
You do know that animals have done things to help people since the beginning of time? Donkeys carry loads, supplies, food, etc, horses have been used to plow fields and carry people, or pull a buggy, to get them where they want to go, dogs serve people, pigeons deliver messages and so on. Also, God put man over all the animals of the earth. This man works as hard as his monkeys do and monkeys don't understand the concept of work either. To them this is probably fun because they get to climb trees and jump around all day outside, plus they love to be with their owners because they see them as family. What would be sad is to leave the monkey home all day alone with nothing to do.
He works harder and better than most people do now days
Glad to see monkeys serving a purpose. Keep it up
Fantastic job with training those 2 monkeys, you sir are an excellent trainer thankyou for posting ths video.
Looks like an even trade. The Monkey looks very well fed and seems to like his life.
just like humans and their shitty jobs
@BJSJAZZYJEWERLYdo horses or cows pigs and chickens have a choice then?
its nice to see people doing good things with monkeys instead of abusing them.
Ponerlo a trabajar es abusar de ellos 🙄🙄🙄
They ARE abusing them
Putting a collar on him and not allowing him to be free is abusing him!
We put dogs to work. We put horses to work. We put a lot of animals to work. What's the difference here?
this is an abuse!

WILD animals you can train only with force and punishment. If he would train with love why he needed to put him on a rope?
