From what little I've seen of Denver so far, the area S of Coors Field is a bit on the sketchy side. But compared w/other large cities I've been to/lived in, I feel relatively safe there in the daytime at least
5 Points in Denver has become completely gentrified. More affluent whites than anybody else in that neighborhood. Also, Denver's "worst" neighborhood would be an average to good neighborhood compared to other large cities.
True. I had an idiot friend who bought a 1.5 mill house there. He’d find drunks on his lawn, needles etc. needless to say, he sold that property fast. I think they lived there 2 years. I’d never have bought a house that expensive in that neighborhood. But I’ve lived in Co for 48 years. I remember when people called us “cowtown”
The numbers for Five Points and Capitol Hill have to be skewed by them being denser than most Denver neighborhoods. I’ve never felt unsafe in them and they are pretty trendy (and frankly gentrified) areas
Great info! How often is the data updated and available? I had a family member violently attacked and put in the hospital from an incident with an "unhoused" person near the Cheesman park area when he was walking his dogs.
Thanks I appreciate the kind words. Usually this data is released from the Denver PD every 6 months. And can be found from some of the local news websites or local online newspapers
East Colfax sucks, Lincoln Park is suspect, Eastside 5 pts forget about it, Park Hill, and Northeast Denver a.k.a montbello. Lower Highlands is calm now
Depends on which neighborhoods in Aurora. They have had their recent issues as well, but there are some great neighborhood further to the east and south parts of Aurora.
East Colfax has been a toilet for so many years I can't count them all. It was a horrible place as far back as the 70s and eveidently hasn't got any better. I moved away from Colorado years ago and it has only devolved since then. I never felt safe in Denver, period. That city has always had bad juju.

Get rid of the annoying background music
I agree. No background music suits me fine.
@Michaelfranzla it's constructive criticism... he makes a great video, but it's true the music competes with his voice

Sorry about that incident but that’s what the residents want I guess
City Park west kinda surprised me. I expected Athmar Park or Westwood.
That surprised me as well. Although I am guessing it will change in the next 6 months of data.
You forgot Montbello
I was surprised it wasn't on the Denver PD List either

Then don't live here get out of here go back to you shouldn't be here lower Highlands b*******
Aurora is still better than these 5 areas?

Swansea-Elyria is a dumpster fire.
5 Points could fill all 5 spots on your list
lol
when was the last time you've been to five points?----the area is becoming quickly gentrified---you see more yuppie yt people there than anyone else
