Very easy straight forward install on complete system, riser and gps bar also , watched this video and started the installation, nothing was the same as i was doing all 3 at same time, cross bars and screws needed was all there but took me 2 minutes to lay it out and see that there's only one way it can go and less than a hour it's all on and done 😂 this windshield and riser and holder system is 100% worth every penny to install, comparison to the stock setup is non existing, hands down top notch product from a top notch seller and if you need directions to install this kit with all the other options after watching this video then you probably should have someone who is mechanically inclined to do so for you, it really is that simple, it can only go together one way 😎
My wife & I did the 1055 miles to Key West in 17hr & 45min and turned around two days later and returned in 17hrs & 15min on my 2009 Roadglide. I just don’t think it would have been possible without the Madstad.
No, our hole pattern for Pan America windshields is not the same as OEM. The OEM brackets are too flexible, they flop around too much so we decided to replace the entire bracket system with a stainless steel design. That lets you put our wider and taller shields on which don't vibrate anymore, like night and day compared to the OEM setup. Huge improvement in wind protection and rock solid stability.
Quick question, I see on Revzilla you guys make a Riser for the Pan Americas dash. I don’t see it on your website and can’t find anyone online that’s purchased it or reviewed it. Is this a real thing or has it yet to be released? If it has yet to be released, when will that be?
We do have it on our web site right next to the link for the windshield systems. However right now only Revzilla, JPCycles and CycleGear are the exclusive dealers for this product. We have been shipping them recently to these dealers so they are being purchased, however there are no reviews on these sites. There is not much technical function in the riser, it simply raises the digital display up higher where you can see it much better. You can also pivot the display, and one customer who has it told us that tilting it back was very helpful for him to see the display when he is standing on the pegs and navigating trails.
