I have the hybrid ESR case. It’s a solid case with a magnetic detachable cover. Back of case has strong magnets so it enables iPad to attach to other metal surfaces. No complain. Also it fits perfectly with ESR screen protector,
I have this saved in my Amazon cart. I have MagBak mount in my truck and wanted to put a strong round magnet on the back of that case to make a strong connection while driving. That case looks to tick all the boxes and it’s good to hear the magnets are strong too

Hey Michael, hope you dont mind me getting in touch, loving the input & looking at getting some of your recommendations, but i hope you can help on an issue I have, i need to be mobile in my work but I also need a network capability, with a Netgear M2 Nighthawk Router, I need to access files from my Ipad, macbook & windows laptop so would I be best to get one of these usb-c hubs with an ethernet connection like a Satechi where i can plug in a standalone ssd, connect the Satechi to the router direct, would that become a network hard drive then ??? cheers steve
Will the magnets on the iPad cases erase credit cards, etc. if they are in the same bag? I am buying an iPad mini and case for my upcoming bike tour and wondering if that will be a concern if the case/iPad and my wallet are close in proximity. Thanks for all the great info!
I put my mini and my wallet in the same bag and I’ve never had an issue, but that’s not to say it can’t happen. Let me poke around to see what I can find.
@@ItsCaputo I couldn't find anything online about the magnets other than cautionary statements. I did end up buying the Mini, the pencil, the Zugu case, the HyperDrive, and the Paperlike. I live in Germany, so it was a bit hunting around to find everything. I think this set-up will be awesome for my trip!

LOL, I didn't catch that during the edit so kudos for the keen eye. Sometimes during the edit process I might mask out an background object that is out of place in one particular shot. I think here the light on the ground (hitting the tree) had powered off so instead of reshooting it, I masked it with a small portion of another shot.
Hey! I would describe it more as cutting down on glare than clarity. No change in sensitivity in my experience and I would actually say it improves precision a bit depending on your use case. For me, it's mostly writing followed by drawing.

Debating whether I need another iPad when I already have an iPad Pro 12.9 6th gen. I do digital art. Is the mini worth having? You also mentioned about the paper like screen protector. I am in the same boat you are because I own both a 12.9" iPad Pro and an iPad mini. The iPad mini takes away usage from my iPhone more so than replacing from my iPad Pro.

Bought the ipad mini based on your recommendation and my usecase as well. Is Paperlike good for photo editing as well or should I go with a glass screen protector which might help me in seeing accurate colours? I would be using my ipad mini for both photo editing and taking a lot of notes and drawing as well. Please help :)
I would use paperlike over a glass screen protector in both instances. You'll get better precision and it would feel better writing IMO. The downside is that the tip of the apple pencil will wear down faster if you were solely using it to write on the iPad mini surface without a screen protector. You can get a four pack of replacement tips from Apple for $20.

The price you quoted for the smart cover is not correct. That is the price for the cover for the older models. The smart cover for the iPad mini 6 is $59. Just a heads up.
Um that is not the same thing as you show in the video as far as the smart cover. It's called the Apple smart folio for the iPad Mini 6 Gen. The smart cover is different since that is made for the 4th and 5th generation of iPad Mini.

I have the ZUGU case; however, it has added quite a bit of weight to my Mini Ouch! Maybe the ESR case will be lighter for taking out with me?
Hmm, I don’t think the ZUGU is too bulky for the most part, but yes, the ESR case is slimmer by comparison.
