Nice looking Bike to be that old.A friend of mine had a Kawasaki 750 two stroke back in the 70's.He used to drag race it at our local Dragstrip.A pretty fast bike that was street legal.Another friend of mine that also lived in the same neighborhood had a Suzuki water cooled 2 stroke 650,I think it was late 70's or early 80's,another fast bike back in those days.I had a 1981 Honda 750 Custom at that time

I swear you are tracing my childhood memories. My dad had this Beast for a short while. My first motorcycle was the Honda Z50 A. Next was Honda CT70, 1974 xr75, 1976 CR125. You have done back-to-back videos recently of every one of these bikes except for the Honda Z50! I would have probably had an out-of-body experience if I had been there when they were delivered. You have the best job in the world. Thank you so much for sharing these videos.

One running, one not, bought two in high school (1984) for 350$
That steering damper was worth it’s weight in gold.

My dad rest his soul had the bigger H2 in exactly this color combination...High fuel AND OIL consumption..blue smoke..evil handling and a guaranteed wheelie on take off if you revved it too much was the order of the day..BUT we love it more now because of nostalgia.

I had a 1975 version and like a fool stripped it down to race hill climb with it, Mt. Park, Monson, Greenfield. Awesome bike.

I had this bike when I was in high school and it was one fast bike, when it hit the power band it was like hitting the nitrous button . Fun Fun Fun

Reagan high school Austin,Tx. Rodger and Tory Leman had a 500 and 750 Mach 1 triples. To this day I can hear their bikes throughout northeast Austin screaming in the night. They could wheelie through the gear box. I bought a 500 few years later and got rid of it right away...... I wanted to live! Tooooooo much bike for me. 1974

I bought the exact bike from Va Beach Cycles in 73. First bike I ever owned and SURVIVED better than the bike did. $1361.00 on the road. Fresh back from a place called Vietnam and I didn't care FAST! Speedo said 126 mph is the best I could get out of it.
10 or 11K miles it was a lot slower than it once was and 5th gear just disappeared while cruising on I 495 so I rode it till 18K before I sold it for 400 bucks.
Hell of a beginners bike for a fool with a death wish and lived to tell about it. Did I mention it was FAST?
I imagine yours has a total engine rebuild along the line but who knows?
