- We got the opportunity to purchase a gentlemans corvette collection. Not too often do you get the chance to bring home 6 63-66 corvettes in one day! Many of them even have the born with numbers match engines! We cant wait to get these cars back, fix them up, and enjoy them!

When the Vietnam era seniors get to that point in their lives where the kids and grandkids do not want these cars, there’s going to be a lot of these type of finds.
Agree. The few that remain won’t be around for much longer as the owners of these old collections are pretty much all 80+ years old. When they pass it is typically the surviving spouse or kids that sell the cars. The good part of this is that the cars and collections get out of the barns and garages and into the hands of car lovers who will get them back running!

Wow, that was a nice find. There is a warehouse on commerce Avenue in Longview Washington that has about 60 cars in it and I would say at least 20 of them are Corvettes just like these Corvettes?
Not hard to believe at all. My garage is full of them.
The previous owner _really_ liked 65s and 66s. Nice job! My hands are full with just one midyear. If you have a spare L79 block....A tip though- don't jack a midyear up from the crossmember under the engine. I know, we all did this to our GM A-bodies. But the C2 frame isn't an A-body frame. Not only will it get dented most likely, but the weight distribution can make things spread apart. Sure, people do it all the time on a C2. Not worth the risk though.

I am a hoarder just like the person that hoarded all these cars. The only difference is, in my garages I have old lawn mowers, snow throwers etc., etc., that are worth about $120 dollars on a good day. This guy I think hoarded a gold mine. Same problem, different results.
Most decorated NCRS judge is my dad Weldon or Monty Montgomery. He passed in December at 94. Left us 3 kids a car from the year we were born. 61, 3 and 5.

As an autoglass technician I look in garages in older neighborhoods all the time because you never know what you might find. Awesome score guys!

About 5 years ago my neighbor passed away and they had me clean up all the junk in the yard and garage. I got 3 396 motors a 348,409 about 7 small block Chevys and a 67 Vette with a 409. I never knew it next door to me.
It’s crazy to think what people can be hiding. I often pass houses thinking man I wish I could see what’s behind that garage door! Lol!

I've literally been having the same dream since I was a kid in the 80s that someone calls me and tells me to come get all the stuff! When I get to the place it's all 63-7 stuff with several cars and I can't figure out where to start!!!! I think that's what heaven must be like!!!! Just corvettes and 70 chevelles everywhere!!! Don't worry bro,there will be Willys coupes everywhere too!!!😮

that's nothing compared to when i bought my 63 roadster from a fella in kentucky over 20 yrs ago-he had around 50 mid year vetts in a huge barn-hardly had room to walk between them-let my wife pick out the one she wanted then of course had to completely restore it-a true barn find

I'm a subscriber to your channel and love the videos. Especially the racing, however, your camera man or the person editing the videos usually cuts of the times and the speeds posted at the track. It would make the videos much more enjoyable if that information was left on the screen long enough for the viewers to digest the information. Sometimes you share the ticket of your performance with us, but it is hard to see and read without a pause.

These cars will take a lot of money to restore and about 800-1000 hours each unless you paid no more thanks k a car it’s not worth doing . Parts and labour now are thru the roof

The owner has passed away, his wife sold the stuff, we kept her out of the video.

The mod. Car looks like a 66 or 67, had a friend that had a car like it (his was a coupe) with the same mods plus his tails were mod to, it was mod back in the '70's
The 70s look is really cool! That car is actually a 63 someone put a nose on at one point.

Looking forward to what you guys do with all these. Who was the actual owner - was he/she there in the video? Why would you stockpile all these and not try to get them in some sort of saleable/drivable condition? I just don't get some people. I've seen smaller versions of this sort of corvette holocaust but nothing this extensive! Good luck with all of it. These are somebody else's "dream cars" and they are just sitting and rotting in a garage.
The actual owner passed away, his wife sold his collection. I believe he fixed and drove most of these cars at one time. I'd guess health kept him from keeping them maintained.
