Hi Alan, great video! I just wanted to ask that what would you say the strengths and weaknesses of the public bill committee will be?

Weaknesses: Their membership reflects the make up of parliament limiting the chances they will challenge the government. They are temporary- only created for a particular bill so don't necessarily have expertise or experience. Strengths: They scrutinize the bill in detail. They have evidence taking powers. They have the power to make amendments
