Excellent video! Thank you for producing it. I have one of these that I bought at a pawn shop, but I'm still learning about it. Your video is most helpful. I especially appreciate your explanation of how to unlock the mainspring so that you don't have to store it under tension.
I came across this pistol design in a 1977 gun Blue book it was like a 500 page value listing of guns from 1977 back and I saw this it was really interesting looking so I looked it up and now I'm just astounded I'm going to start looking for one when I'm at gun shows
Well! This is a fine clear video of a really fascinating thing, that might not be available in practice? I guess if I have to SETTLE for a Hammerli version (or an air pistol that sort of looks like this) I'll eventually get over it. I mean, I'm not Olympic-quality MYSELF! But it seems like it would give me something to strive for.
Arme, thank you for posting this. My 35M should arrive today and I cannot wait! I am a bit confused about "dry firing" the pistol...you said it is ok but later when decocking the main spring for storage you say to raise the breech block half way because if it is raised all the way the firing pin will contact the breech face? Please correct me...a "dummy" cartridge must always be in the chamber?
you can dry fire with only using the set trigger (the lever on the side). if you dry fire with the main spring engaged (the bottom lever), the firing pin will hit the breach face
It looks like you are missing a screw in the grip. I've used an M3 screw cut to length with success :) Your Toz is in much better condition than mine :)
yes. that screw is missing. but i replaced the original grips with a brand new Rink grip. feels MUCH better. (and Rink uses only 2 screws instead of 4)
I just want to touch it! I have only shot such a thing once, ever (just one round!) and it left a lasting impression. Maybe fifty years ago! I liked everything about it!
Mine doesn’t eject empty cartridges. Ejector pull them slightly out of the chamber but then I have to use my fingernail to take it out. Do you know why this happens?
@@ArmeVechi does your ejector snaps open or is it operated by falling block?mine opens by moving the action lever to the front but it doesn’t snaps open which I think it should do in order to eject the cartridges
@@ArmeVechi it seems that my problem is with action block not snapping open . When I push the lever, block just goes down but it doesn’t snaps fast to make ejector snap back. I’ll take it apart and see what I can find. Thank you
I figure it out! It was the little Spring on the bottom handle. It wasn’t pushing on the piece that works the ejector. All I had to do is remove the handle pull the spring out and bend it to the left. Works perfectly now!
All together: "Made by Communists, so you know it's good!". I liked everything about this, but was really surprised at the special cleaning mode. Is that typical of single-shot match pistols? I have always thought that single-shot pistols should be easy to clean generally, since the fire is not going everywhere, but entirely down the barrel! A few "free pistols" are available here, I haven't seen one of these. I would like to! I'd promise to keep it clean and oiled, and take it to the range every week! I guess you really get a LOT out of a box of ammunition with this system. I also love the idea that there are air-pistols of similar format so you can practice at home, IN your house! I do that, it is very satisfying and a cheap thrill!
@@ArmeVechi Thanks! See? I learned something today. It makes so much sense, but in life that doesn't always count. I really enjoy just looking at this thing. Well, who knows? If I keep practicing with whatever I HAVE, maybe one will turn up some day.
holy shit! just bought one of these last weekend. thanks for all the work you put into this!

Perfect video for someone who just started using this beautiful gun (like me). Thanks a lot!
Great video! I bought one @2018 and haven't fired it , because I didn't start carving out the wooden blocks that are the grip panels!
you could buy ready made grips from Rink, like i did.
@@ArmeVechi yep. premade rink grips are the answer.
I've seen pictures of something like this where the grips were just roughed out! Looked like a big arts and crafts project, but probably worth it.

strangely, you can find them around - SH. especially in germany and in the US
Ecellent video, thank you!
we have 2 Too 35 pistols... greta pistol and easy to use... much cheaper than the new Pardini and Morini models

Where i can find the year of production? Thanks!
if it;s a TOZ-35M, you can deduce it from the serial number. if it;s an older TOZ-35 like mine, there is no way of knowing the year of production
I wanna buy this gun
this gun is no longer produced since 1990
@@ArmeVechi but Sir where did you buy this gun

i;ve seen it too happen to other, more used, TOZes. It's definitely wear and tear, but i cannot say exactly what part
