  • "Comrade" Pavel takes us on a guided tour of the factory and the workers who make kettlebells.

The vid quality pixelates out in a few places, but generally it's good. See comrade, that's what you get when you go with WMV over Quicktime. ;-)

Paval cracks me up sometimes. and by sometimes I mean all the time.

How difficult would it be to cut through the handle? Thinking of getting some to lock my bike to. Can't be arsed installing a ground anchor in my shed.

You'll find that they're priced per pound.
Iron is pretty dense and shipping is by a combination of weight and volume.
You aren't paying as much for he making as you are the shipping and handling.

I own Pavel's KB, and I own cheaper imported Chinese ones. Pavels are worth every penny for the quality, particularly for the even smoothness of the handles.
My cheaper ones have uneven handles that absolutely interfere with my technique when it rotates in my hand during snatches and cleans & the like.
And he's a physical trainer from another country, not an American-born video presenter. I actually quite like his presentation. YMMV.

Other than not having imperfections are they more durable? I had one that I bought at a local athletic big box store and I dropped it on its horns and it broke the handle off. I was thinking about purchasing from Dragon Door but wasn't sure if there Kettlebells were more durable?

I learned the false economy of cheap 32Kg kettlebells. Rough as all hell, covered in flaws that grab your palms. I've filed them smooth but now have rust to contend with. Should have just spent 2x as much and got a decent pair.

Pavel isn't from American, HE TRAINED SPETSNAZ! Hence the Russian accent. This man is a god not only because he trained Spetsnaz, but also for bringing kettlebellls to America. Without him u would not nearly be as strong and powerful as I am today. Pavel, I shake your hand sir!
