Restaurant Style Fish Korma | Machli Ka Korma | मछली का कोरमा | Step By Step Method Of Making Fish Korma
Mildly spiced, this Indian fish korma recipe is made with the creaminess of cashewnuts and onion tomato paste along with aromatic whole spices. A perfect Indian dish for the whole family .
Serve this amazing fish korma with rice, pulao, roti or naan.

Ingredients :
4 pc (400 gms) Surmai Fish Steaks
Marination :
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Gram Flour (Besan)
½ tsp Corn Flour
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
½ tsp Salt (or as per taste)
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Water if required to make the paste
For Masala Paste :
3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 large (200 gms) Onion (sliced)
8 nos. Cashewnuts
1 large (120 gms) Tomato (sliced)
2 to 3 tbsp Water if required
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil - for frying the fish steaks
Other Ingredients :
1 no. Bay Leaf (Tej Patta)
1 no. Black Cardamom (Kala Elaichi)
2 sticks Cinnamon (Dalchini)
2 nos. Green Cardamoms (Hara Elaichi)
2 nos. Cloves (Laung)
½ tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
100 ml Water (to be used after rinsing the blender jar)
1 tsp Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder)
½ tsp Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)
2 to 3 Green Chillies (roughly chopped)
½ tsp Salt (or as per taste)
100 ml Hot Water
½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
¼ tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves (roasted & crushed)
1 tbsp Fresh Cream
2 to 3 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
Few Coriander leaves more for final garnishing
Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
Where Vegetable Oil is mentioned, it means I have taken Sunflower Oil
