    I’m wearing a Schuberth at the moment and it was thanks to Chris and his team that I picked exactly the right helmet for my riding and got the right size. Got a price match discount too! Couldn’t recommend them too highly. Expert advice & excellent customer service.

    Thank you, a very informative review.
    I have one on order and am just hoping that it fits my head shape and size, since this will be my first Schuberth helmet. If it doesn't fit I will probably shave my head down until it does fit !
    A very well researched review, very eloquently presented. Well done !

    Thank you for the review. I will not purchase a new C4 or the Shoei Neotec because there is no longer a "D" ring chin strap. I use those "D" rings to secure the helmet on my motorcycle.

    Have had C4 since 2019 and this review I feel is bull , considering C4 - I have driven with this helmet for some 50000 km , in rain or shine . On the road for 8 week , riding when it was pissing down in Britain , in gail winds in Norway. Never had a drop of water in it, never had a fog issue , since my helmet come with the pinlock originally, and from my dealer they said that that standard on the helmet. Intercom - was plug and play Put in the 2 units - pair up and forget it. On my Euro-tour 32000 km (I know not very long) in 8 weeks I lisend to my raidio nearly when ever I sat on my bike, phoned home and that work OK up to 50-60 miles an hour. I will in the strongest terms say that the helmet is better than you give it credit for.

    Great and honest review of the C4/C4 Pro. Thanks for that. I have a C4 and I agree 100% regarding it's faults, just a shame they did not get it right first-time.
    My question is: can the inferior pinlock of the C4 be replaced with the pinlock from the C4 Pro? Also is there a quick fix for the loose battery issue? Thanks very much and keep up the good work.

    All sounds and looks great, I have and have used every day for the last 6 months a C4 PRO . In the rain it condensates because it does not have enough ventilation . So you crack the visor open very slightly and this helps but it then leaks down the inside of the visor. The coms well ! very neat and easy to fit unfortunately this does not extend to its use which is virtually impossible due to its location and button presses even with gloves off. You need to spend another £80+ on a remote control which helps no end. Quiet well my old Arai Quantum is quieter.

    I ordered a C3 Pro based on the Revzilla size chart. It was a terrible mistake. However, Revzilla is a great co when it comes to returning purchased items. I wear size Med in Arai yet Large in C3 Pro was so tight that it was unbearable. I guess I need to go to XL in Schuberth. Non adjustable Cheek Pads is totally unacceptable.

      I just got this helmet and the fitting on the forehead is great (snug), but the check pads feel tight and I have little room to open my mouth/jaw. Is this normal in terms of fitting?

    Just wondering if anyone knows if the C4 Pro can be connected to a Sena 20s (if you have an existing comms)?
    Thanks.

    • @Motolegends
      @Motolegends  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not quite sure of the question. If you are asking whether you can fit a 20S into a C4 Pro the answer is no. If you are asking whether with the C4 comms you can connect to someone else who is using a Sena 20S then the answer is yes, easy (they are both Sena so easy to pair).

    • @eleventeenmedia
      @eleventeenmedia 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Motolegends Sorry, i should have been a little more clear. I've got an existing Sena 20s and considered purchasing the Schuberth C4 Pro, and wanted to know if the in-built speaker & mic can be plugged into my Sena 20s unit if i stuck it on the side of the helmet; OR, am i better off buying the C4 Basic and installing the speaker and mic from the 20S into that model helmet instead. Just figured that if the Pro has an in-built speaker & mic, i might as well just go for that model. Hoping that clarifies the question? (Can't seem to find the answer anywhere on the internet)
      And THANK YOU for reply!!!

    • @Motolegends
      @Motolegends  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Terence - now I am going to have to 'phone a friend'! I believe the answer is still no but I just need to double check. Will come back to you shortly.

    • @Motolegends
      @Motolegends  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Terence. The view is that you can't do it with a C4 Pro without cutting wires and that is not to be recommended. We think you could do it with a C4 Basic but it is going to be a bit of a bodge. Our recommendation would be either sell your Sena 20S and buy the comms that goes with the C4 Pro or buy a different helmet to put your comms on that!

    I tried the C4 and the C4 pro and it felt like the C4 was longer front to back than the C4 pro. I was disappointed in the C4 pro's fit because I have a intermediate to long oval head. It is a nice helmet. It just isn't for me.

    • @LMO169
      @LMO169 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Schuberth had forever helmets for round head shapes. The C4 was the first to have an intermediate oval shape and the Schuberth fans went mad about it. So for the C4 Pro Schuberth went back to their traditional round shape

    Wish J&S had fitted me properly for the Shoei I bought from them, the spotty teenage assistant couldn’t have cared less and I ended up a month later buying the same helmet a size smaller, £300 wasted. Would never use J&S again for anything major, shame you don’t have a store in the north!

    I bought a C4 helmet in 2019, and it is without a doubt the worst helmet I’ve ever owned. The lining in the top of the helmet is so thin, it starts to become painful after an hour of riding. The ill-fitting anti-fog visor is pure rubbish. The C4 is so bad, Schuberth should offer free upgrades to the C4 Pro. I would never buy another Schuberth product.

      I am thinking about removing the cheek pieces and carving out foam to stop the uncomfortable clamping around my jaw. Won’t buy again, done with modular helmets.

  • @intoconjunctions
    @intoconjunctions ปีที่แล้ว

    No. It’s not a fantastic helmet. It is so loud that you can’t hear anything on the headphones at max volume. The fit is terrible. Pressure on the forehead becomes unbearable after 45 minutes of riding even though it’s the exact same size I had on the C3pro. What an expensive mistake I made buying this helmet. Also - it is damaged on the inside structure at the back where one of the straps is meant to be attached. I could not possibly have broken it, it has been like that since day one. Avoid.

  • @ricford39

    When the presenter said the helmet was a Schuberth C4 Pro and it was not, I dialed out at 2:52.. The very least, the very least this guy could have done was stop and re-shoot the video. No credibility whatsoever.
