I like Eivor’s brutality because Vikings, and Arno’s realism, because that’s the best way to kill someone silently
I couldn’t agree more, love both the games for the mood too.
Ain’t Arno do a running assassinate where he trip the person up then stab em on the ground or was that in Syndicate?
@@JoshB100 if you’re running then you ain’t being stealthy, all the non running assassinations are quite stealthy and only alert others once the body drops
@@JoshB100 The high-profile assassinations are just as tactical. I'm pretty sure he stabs them in the trachea so they can't scream.
Ikr? I prefer Arno's assassination much better, he doesn't suddenly extend his arm then kill but rather than putting his hand on the vital spot and let the hidden blade's mechanism do the work...
Unity's is definitely the cleanest and most practical if your going for a "stealth kill"
Yeah, He did nothing but pulled him out of his way.
Not really😒
Syndicates method is pretty similar.
@Todes zauberer778 because Syndicate is Just Shittier Unity for the most part
Arnos blade kills are just better than the rest
In assassin's Creed Odyssey you assassinate the enemy by stabbing them in the a$$
You should see when that animation plays from the front lol ever saw a guy die from being stabbed in the jewels? 🤣
LOL🤣🤣🤣
Lmao bruh 😂🤣
Lol.
Speaking factually that's the worst place to attack if you want someone to die
Arno's assassinations are sooo smooth
You almost dont understand that someone is dying like 5 sec
some of his sneak kills: poke u ded
his running kills: *SUPRISE MOTHAF*CKA!!!*
After revelations it seems the assassins got more subtle but also added more style with their assassinations ESPECIALLY Arno ezio and Altair seemed like they were tryna make sure the blade went deep as possible 😭
Also I think Arno was the best example of what the Assassins are supposed to be he’s quick he’s silent and he still adds his own personal style to his kills he’s a ghost, nobody matches his executions when it comes to tactics for stealth.
The animation is the exact same in Syndicate, I don't see you complimenting its protagonists tho
connor as well
@@Engille967 I don't see anyone complimenting me
Arno is not the best example. Altair, Ezio, Conor, Edward, Adewale, Shao Jun, Aveline, Jacob & Evie is the best example. All of them can easily matched his execution when it comes to stealth tactics or combat.
@@Engille967 it was just a case of recycled animation due to the 1-2 year development period
Ac Unity and Syndicate takin the dub here.
Agreed
Absolutely.
I agreee
Fr
No impact at all. Looks like a child can do that
Seeing all these assassinations and then seeing eivor's assassination makes you realize how savage and brutal he is 😅
Conor, Edward, Adewale, Jacob and Bayek were also brutal af especially Conor & Edward Kenway.
@@mavvynne444 not AS brutal tho
Odyssey had brutal assassinations too
you mean she :P
@@featherman209 It is brutal af especially the special kill animation from Assassin's Creed 3, Black Flag, Rogue & Syndicate.
@Mr. Yeager it's a she. When it's a he it's Odin
Every Assassin: silently and swiftly.
Eivor: HERE IT COMES HERE IT COMES! OHHH, WHAT A HIT!
Connor, Edward and Shay are so smooth, quick and casual
Facts💯👌🏼👌🏼
for context, put these kills next to the AC1 and 2 series, which stops the assassin's movements upon making any stealth kill.
AC3 and onwards allow running assassinations. so AC3, 4 and rogue feature faster kills. especially when 5+ guards get alerted right after.
Also adewale and aveline
Unity was just beautiful with the animations. And I love the double kill improvisation since we only have one hidden blade. I really hope that they go back to the old ac formula but with Unity animations AND properly optimized that would be amazing
Odyssey : assassinate his leg 🗿
Unity just has the best animations for everything, really wish the game wasn’t so buggy and didn’t get the bad wrap it didn’t deserve
Edit: I have a combined 400 hours on PC and Console on Unity, yes it isn’t as bad as before, but it’s still buggy af! I love this game too guys but I’m not blind to the fact it’s still a mess!
honestly, it wasn't as buggy as everyone was saying. But once that IGN article or whatever came out, everyone hopped on the "ItS sO bUgGy" train. The only bugs I experienced was the fact that mutliplayer wasn't working, but they patched it up the next week.
People always got a kick out of dunking on AC and calling out Ubisoft (which they rightly deserve at times)
It litetally doesn't. The bad wrap was not deserved since the game got praised for its true issues. I am thankful for the hate at launch cuz AC would've followed Unity's footsteps and Origins and Odyssey would've bedn shitty RPGs. If you praise Unity's stiry, combat, leveling system, eagle vision, progression system, graphics, side content and animations you desperately need to get a life
@@ratatoskr9366 I love the game, and still play it now, and it’s still pretty buggy bro, but I can live with them, I’ll give you one example of a bug you’ll never be able to unsee when you play, pop in NPCs when walking through large crowds, if you look in the bottom corners and sides of the screen when walking through crowds you watch NPCs change before your eyes and you can’t unsee it😂
@@ArmyOfMapping it's a shitty game. Read above
I've faced some pretty shitty bugs. The random falling through the ground, the infamous face bugs, the hidden blade animation was straight up missing at some points, and a few other bugs with the sound files. But when it did work, it was a dream. The story was garbage, but the gameplay was beautiful (when it worked the way it was meant to be)
Odyssey: you level is low to assassinate this enemy
AC origins: every non-boss enemy are insta-killable with hidden blade
Odyssey: I need to pick my targets carefully, pick off the weaker ones first, then use adrenaline to Crit-kill the stronger ones
Valhalla: ADVANCED ASSASSINATION MADAFAKAS!!!
@@TheHammerGuy94exact
Arno: a new generation of stealthier, more careful assassins. As stated by the trailer. The animation shows it beautifully!
yet people still forget about how good he is...how sad
Unity was the peak of the series. Hope they bring back that stealthy feeling and the incredible parkour.
Other AC: Either kills from behind or front depending on the target's position
AC Odyssey: Say goodbye to leg day and your prostate!
The phase where hidden blade kills were subtle and you just carried on walking as if nothing happened was the best, in my opinion
I love how Ezio stabs his enemies with both the hidden blade and his other hidden blade 🔪
He only uses one hidden blade on one guy
@@sharkyq4340 no, the dude got stabbed in 2 different places, just watch closely 😏
@@lGHOST16l I have a bad feeling about this
Eivor only gas one hidden blade though.
I like the animation for Eivor when he walks and does a assassination
Unity actually has some of the best animations I've ever seen in a ac game. And Paris at that time is a pretty good parkour playground.
I love the comparison between the first 4 games and the next. The altiar and ezio games have these slow silent stabs, but then u have connor edward and shay basically punching their enemies in the stomach with the blade
Altair and Ezio's kills immediately stop their movements when they make a stealth kill.
AC3 allow running assassinations that dosent break the assassin's momentum, and can continue to run after the kill.
this carries to AC4 and rogue.
ACU and ACS steps it up by having brutal running kills as well.
Title: Hidden blade kills
Odyssey: spear works too
Unity is unique, so smooth and fast it's perfect
Arno and bayek
Arno is stylish
Bayek is brutal
Perfection
agreed! both my favourites and most practical.
Syndicate had some pretty elegant and stealthy takedowns.
Bayeks is probaly the most realistic one, considering you actually need some force to stab someone with a wide blade
AC1 had a nice sound to it
Ezio collection removed the sound, but still looks good
AC3, Black Flag, and Rogue felt aggressive, yet effective
Unity and Syndicate have more finesse like they are true assassins
Origins has a more brutal way that's still stealthy
Odyssey chooses to stab people in a place that is not only less lethal, but more painful
Valhalla is just overdoing it
Well I would say from an assassin pov rogue and unity has the best silent assassination. Odyssey doesn't even use a hidden blade. And valhalla is most affective because he penetrated the heart in a Viking way and he's the only one that I know that uses the hidden blade on top of his wrist because he's not an assassin he's a warrior and will use the really sharp blade like a warrior would.
Vikings gonna vike
AC2 had some pretty brutal animations man. I loved it
It was the same as ac 1 and bh…
I like how last mission of rogue and first mission of unity is in the same time
I love Evior's comments on the Hidden Blade when he first gets them. Pointing out that Basim only has 4 fingers on his left hand so that's why he's wearing his hidden blade differently.
Both unity and syndicate have the best stealth in the franchise imo
I just love the sound effect when Altair assassinates with hidden blade🥂🔥
I really think you could've gone for an actual Assassinate animation in Odyssey, instead of the basic stab, there are so many cool animations for kills in the game, both crouched and standing.
I really think Odyssey shouldn't even be in the video at all considering the title was "Hidden blade kills" and Odyssey doesn't have any hidden blade
@@rayclay3249 Spear Of Leonidas acts as a hidden blade for the players to use
@@markbaltazar6916 It "acts" as a hidden blade or an assassination method for the game but it is no hidden blade so it doesn't really apply. This is not me nitpicking but if it's not a hidden blade then it is not a hidden blade plain and simple
@@rayclay3249 a hidden blade can be any weapon used by someone who can use a tool as such. But if that's the case, let's look at Assassin's Creed 3, Connor uses weapons to take people down silently, that aren't a hidden blade, yet still effective nonetheless. And I am talking about the stone tomahawk, not the assassin tomahawk, that Connor uses. If it can be used to kill a target silently, then it is a hidden blade/weapon. This was taught to Kassandra while growing up when she said was basically raised by other mercenaries and hunters, to kill anyone with a weapon that can be used silently.
@@markbaltazar6916 I'm not as well versed in AC lore as I used to since the games went the RPG route but I don't think what you said is true. Sure what you describe are weapons that can effectively take down target silently but it is still not a hidden blade, y'know the small blade that is situated under the wrist (or on top the wrist in some cases) so basically what you said didn't really make my statement of "if it is not a hidden blade then it is simply not a hidden blade" false
You uses Connors tomahawk to say that it can be use as a weapon to take down the target silently but it is still not a "hidden blade" or even a "hidden weapon" since the tomahawk isn't really hidden when you hold it. You don't even categorize the example you gave as a hidden blade by saying "Connor uses weapons to take people down silently, that aren't a hidden blade, yet still effective nonetheless" so my points still stands.
My man Bayek didnt even need the hidden blade to kill that guy, bro is way too brutal
You actually had high enough level for odyssey
I never had a problem just assassinating people
I think AC Unity has the best animation, because he makes it look very casual, he just walks to the enemy, stabs him quickly and walk away like nothing happened. It's definitely the most assassin-like.
love how it went from a calm stab to a more aggresive shank to a very elegant cut to a more forceful shank (which makes sense considering it was the first one ever) to not even using a hidden blade but just stabbing them to something that barely classifies as an assassination
The kills in Valhalla have a special place for me. I still think Ubisoft should have just made a Viking game instead of slapping assassins creed on it, but getting a stealth kill with the hidden blade in that game is so fun.
you hit them in the balls and they die in Odyssey, it's not even a assassination in valhalla
odyssey you mean? and ya valhalla’s like “how to assasinate with the most sound as possible” haha
@@devileye90 well that's the only one where he's not even an assassin... he just has a blade
@@KellyMorris596 Edward's also not really an Assassin for the runtime of the game/most of it and Shay's a Templar at that point. If you're stealth-ing, regardless of Eivor's status being "not an Assassin," the goal probably shouldn't be *do it as loud as possible.*
@@TimelessTransience well Shay was Assassin trained and if you look close at Edward you'll notice he's skilled but sloppy, fitting for a man who was a Privateer just a few years before
@@KellyMorris596 The point is that not being an assassin doesn't mean that the character throws out stealth. Shay is a poor example yes, I will grant I included a technicality - arguably Bayek could have been a better example since it is prior to the Assassins.
However, I would point out that Edward is likely the best non-assassin example, as the closest character to Eivor in that regard. His sloppiness is more like what should have really been done with Eivor, over the extremely not- stealthy approach we got. Especially if you factor in the top-mounted blade probably compounding the issue.
Nothing beats the good Old days of Playing Assassins Creed as Ezio… being a Child was special… shit doesnt feel the same anymore
You forgot ac liberation and freedom cry
Liberation has sum underrated assassinations
maybe because they're only dlc or some shit? not somehow canon and important in the timeline, if you get what im saying
@@fedagro2122 they’re 100% canon, lol
Geez I never realized how brutal Evior’s assassinations are😭
Everyone:- blade killer.....Alexios:- Ass killer
are u sure ? Odyssey ? Hiden blade in odyssey 😏
I would enjoy it 😏
AC3 really changed it up with the animations, that game was incredible
I used to love the little glitch of the animus where the hidden blade stabbed a character
I like the originals more, as the people don't just topple over immediately, they go "oh god I've been stabbed" and then slowly fall over
Unity was the best making you feel like an assassin. Anyone not paying attention would see a guy move through the crowd and a man would fall over with a slit throat opposed to having a guy lift someone a foot into the air and slam him down or stabbing someone in the side repeatedly making "no sound" all the while.
I miss when it wasn’t RPGCreed
Ezio looks like he taking them while killing
Odyssey and Valhalla are pure garbage.
Untiy is amazing.
The fact that people just don't die after assassination in last 3 games what destroys the whole concept .
Assassins creed unity was definitely the best in my opinion.
Absolutely nobody cares anyways.
I do. Thanks for commenting 😊
@@NexaTerraGaming your welcome
I personally really like Eivors assassinations with the hidden blade because of the sheer strength he/she puts into it (Depending on the gender you chose)
Well I would say from an assassin pov rogue and unity has the best silent assassination. Odyssey doesn't even use a hidden blade. And valhalla is most affective because he penetrated the heart in a Viking way and he's the only one that I know that uses the hidden blade on top of his wrist because he's not an assassin he's a warrior and will use the blade like a warrior would
I wish they continued the dual hidden blades in Unity and the hidden blade combat
I’m not sure what those last three games were I thought this was an assassins creed thing
Odyssey fans are coming for u
@@arshiasultana5762 Not worth the trouble lol, specially considering how these guys are always there to buy the new games regardless 🤷🏻♂️ and this from someone who's been playing AC since 2009
Origins was more of an AC game then Syndicate where you gotta grappling hook early in the game 🤦♂️
@@JoshB100 story wise that’s true, the first four were the only real ac games
Orgins is Assassin’s Creed the rest I can agree with but don’t shit on Orgins, such a under-look game.
I love Unity's badass and over the top assassination animations especially the hidden blade kills
Arno is a smooth operator and i love everything about it
I laugh at how odyssey just straight up sticking spearhead to the bumhole
Im the only one who misses the sound when you assassinate in AC1? THAT sounds lethal
Can't beat the AC1 sound design
Odyssey shouldn't be on here since it's not a hidden blade
True
The Spear acts as a hidden blade, it's just the concept of hiding it under the forearm wasn't invented yet
Unity I remember throwing smoke bombs and hidden blade killing a dozen guards
Odyssey has no place being in this comp
All AC are great in their way ❤
Our Brotherhood, my brothers and sister, will last forever. Don't let this franchise die ❤
damn Bayek really forced that blade in there 😭
I do find it interesting that AC expects us to believe that so many enemies patrolled roofs 😂
Idk if people know but I found out a while ago if you Press the RT (sprint button) at the same time as the assassination, and point forward you get a slightly different animation
All the other games:
Odyssey: haha I'm different
Yeah Odyssey isn't even about assassins
Other assassins creeds:body lays on the floor
Assassins creed odyssey:enemies body goes bye-bye
Arno gotta have the best. Its so smooth and clean
I like how Altair, Ezio silent kill is literally a Humping position
AC 1's gottq be the most dramatic one.
I love the graphics in Brotherhood
Ezio maybe my fav, but Arno in Unity is so unique and smooth
Every AC since Origins it’s so over the top it looks like the character needs a protein shake after each time
Conor and haythams are so fluid
Altair and Ezio: we use our backs to Assassinate
Syndicate was probably peak of the original system but origins gameplay was amazing
I like bayek because he forces their head away so they cant fend him off. Makes both people in the interact react more
I remember in unity, there is the mission that you blend in the crowd with some red guy also in it, you assassinate one of them and the red guy stand next to him will never notice, that is a steal kill there lol
Ezio's way is the most practical, only if don't pull his victims the way he does, it'll be a clean kill
After watching all of these, I realize that Edward really isn’t much of an assassin. The man is a pirate through and through. He looks uncoordinated and unfamiliar with how to use that thing. And it makes the most sense as he was thrusted that world with no training and no preparation like the rest. A simple man of fortune thrust into a cause bigger than himself.
In the Odyssey he rapes the enemy as much as kills him 😂
My favorite assassins creed game is rogue tbh
It was a good story
Nice combat and ship combat
Beautiful world
And nice side missions
with AC4 assassinations if you do a silent assassination while moving LEFT or RIGHT your character will leave his hand out to slightly push the target to the ground.
3 is where it started getting more personal😂
There are many assassination animations in Odyssey but everyone always makes sure to show the worst one, i personally like the one where character stabbs the dude in the head and then using that spear as a lever to twist his neck.
Arno and Jacob are so fancy with it. Like nothing happened here the animation in those two games are to this day one of if not the best
Slit the throat and walk casually
I'm so glad they're going back to the old type games with Mirage. Assassin's Creed is Back!🙌
I love how stupidly over the top the animations are in Odyssey and Valhalla, those are the only things they have over Origins, the variety in animations.
Игры до ориджинс- тихое и незаметное убийство
Игры после ориджинс- в атаку!!!
I miss walking assassinations
I miss the parkour and stealth mechanics of unity,
Literally peaked there.
(I also prefer the combat but that’s subjective)
Alexios really need to clean his spear
It's evolving, just backward from origin
Bro Arno does it so calmly 🗿
Brotherhood and revelations sounded the best...that ripping sound...as if the blade damaged an internal organ
I miss elegance of older titles
The throat stab 😬😬😬
