      People ignore the present day plot, and juno. The reality is that all the old games, (AC1-Syndicate) were part of a major storyline, and it isn't a crossover, but a sequel. Sad that ubisoft rusehd all games to release so close to eachother tho. That said, the new games have a far less clear vision for narrative, many people simply don't understand assassin's creed, all because the the new games.

    The most cold-blooded assassination that truthfully had a chilling impact was Germain's. Arno made him feel every slow second of that blade, with a dead stare. Haytham claiming that the Templar order needs no indoctrination is pretty ironic considering he only became a Templar because of indoctrination

    • @kevind3974
      @kevind3974 ปีที่แล้ว +47

      And prity hardcore indoctrination at that to. They killed his father in front of him then gas lite him on it for years. Dude ended up dispising everything related to his father because of them.
      And if he was using Arno as an example (Arno would at this point in time be raised by bealopen the Templar leader) as Arno was never indoctrinated, hes off massively their. Sorry to tell you this hathem but it was never anyones intention to recruiter Arno into the order. Arno was adopted out of respect for Charles and the only reason why Charles was even killed was because he had the box. That Box is a blight on humanity, its caused an untold amount of pointless deaths. If it wasn’t for that box Charles would have been fine.
      unlike in the americas and Britain, franch was completely stable. They had a truce that lasted almost 40 years before the revolution caused it to fracture. Frances set up at that time was more like that of the golden age of the mob. They worked off the principles similar to that of the almarta and higher tier killings even on another side had to be green lite by both sides higher ups. Out of all time periods we’ve been able to play in this is probably one of the most stable of all of them before its absolute collapse. Their was no reason to indoctrinate Arno, their wasnt even really a reason to recruite him. Hell he was sheltered from the truth. Not until Bealopen died did he even know what a Templar or assasin was.

But he was originally going to Scape and said allies putted him in the path of revenge in the first place) and then he contradicts himself by trying to kill Borgia out of spite only to be stabbed and have a change of heart 5 minutes later.

The senators just realised they have made a GRAVE mistake. for Caesar won the peoples hearts and the senate had robbed them of that. In ancient history the senators who murdered caesar were arrested and killed and those who escaped, got caught and killed. the last 2 to survive thought that leaving to Africa would save them, until a soldier recognised them and went up to them to ask who they were, obviously knowing. the senators tried to bluff, but mid sentence the soldier took out his sword and slashed one's throat and the other was later decapitated. Their corpses left to the sands and beasts of the sands. Spitting on their body and cursing their names.

    Julius Ceasar's death was so cringe tbh, and especially his argument with Brutus and Casius. Hearing Liberators who were Optimates talking abaout bringing power and land to the people, while the core of this proto political party was keeping it in the hands of the nobility was so infuriating. Don't get me wrong I love Origins and to me it is one of the best Assassin's Creed game (definetly the best of the new RPG games) but the part when Romans came to picture was for me unberable. From story narrative (mainly Ceasar assassination) to their equipment (lorica segmentata in 1 century B.C. legioneries using those weird standard for Origins enemies sword [is it realy so hard to give them gladiuses, espesially when they are in the game] or ewen Dacian falx [if i saw that sword right], and don't get me started with using centurions as heavy anemy type) and roman style armors you can get from the arena. Even battles like battle of the Nile are unwatchable as they are Hollywod style mess that is the nightmare of any capable general (i have the same problem with battles in Odyssey, or as I call them brawls between local groups of Sparta and Athens fans as no sane general would let something like this happen on the battlefield) making it impossible to enjoy which is the shame as it is important moment for Bayek. Luckly things like sea battles, arena and cities ocupated by Rome are fine. Sadly I must say that I enjoyed the game far more when I didn't know so much about ancient history which is wery sad considering this series was once known for being historicly accurate (as much as it could be with it's plot). I hope that next entrys of the series will se the level of passion and accuracy as the older games had.
