To think that someone with depression like Myaling is spending her life giving to and creating content for others to help manage anxiety and other mental health issues really shows her heart and how oftentimes those who are suffering are the ones most empathetic to the needs of others. Honestly I never was interested in ASMR but then I was in depression for quite a long time where I found myself unable to sleep at all.. Trust me you've blessed me with sleep everyday now.
Several years ago I was going through my own search for help on YT. I suffer from insomnia, depression and anxiety. I had been watching Japanese and Chinese tea ceremonies because they made me calm. Then one night, in the wee small hours, my recommends had something special. My first ASMR vid, the first tea tasting ceremony that Maria, Gentle Whispers, ever did. I was thunderstruck. I don't tingle or get any ASMR responses, but certain vids do calm me down for some reason.
Same thing here, I was battling the worst depression I’ve ever been in. Sometimes I would only sleep two hours. My mind would be wondering off into dark thoughts. I’m not really sure how ASMR came up on my recommendations but I’m so glad it. It helps calming my severe anxiety.
After my boss literally made my soul leave my body with his negativity at work today, nothing would be more relaxing than a new video of my favourite, angelic girl in youtube 💜💜

I've battled suicidal thoughts and clinical depression, since than I've been suffering through insomnia I can't fall asleep until 3 at night and I've classes at 8 in the morning it ruins my entire schedule. I always search for asmr to fall asleep . Myaling has helped a lot I watch her old asmrs too and never get bored of it. On another note is it just me or there are people who can't watch and fall asleep watching the same videos they have watched before. That's me lmao😣it takes me 1 hour to find a perfect video to fall asleep 😔

This is probably my top choice for ASMR. The sounds are amazing. There is very minimal talking. There is actually a person who is getting the treatment/beauty routine. Try meditation. It helped me to release emotions. I suffered depression for a long time until I discovered many ways to cope including meditation.
