@@MusicTechnologist I just spoke with a musician who went to Berkeley Music School and he said one way to write bridges and Pre chorus is to just switch keys all together.
Well, when I initially bought the iPad Pro, I already had a Surface Book 2. What was disappointing me was how mediocre it was as a tablet. The software experience is not optimized for touch the way an iPad is. I bought my iPad primarily for note taking and productivity work, but ended up stumbling upon iPad music production. I had been doing desktop/laptop music production for years using FL Studio, but once I tried making beats in BeatMaker 3, I was hooked. Anyway, hoping that Logic is coming soon to iPad OS! 🤞🏽
Just to be clear, do you mean the placement of the actual clips in the playlist? If so, they’re lined up square on the bar lines. If instead you mean the audio from my ipad not being fully synced with my overhead cam shot, it’s about as close as I’m able to get it. I don’t generally have any issues with recording live audio.
For this song, I made the instrumental in BM3 and then recorded the vocals + mixed & mastered in FL Studio on my laptop. I have done everything in BM3 before though. My song “A Little Jingle” was done entirely in BM3 on my iPad, minus a little pitch correction that I had to bounce out a couple files to my laptop for.
@@MusicTechnologist for some reason i cant get sound out of my mic to BM3 using a scarlett solo 3rd gen but its not picking up the mic? ill try and mess around with it some more and see what im missing.
I love the concept of the song. Tight, and it keeps us listening!

Dope Song, Love it!
Great video! Prechorus are challenging.
Thanks! Yes, they definitely tend to take the most commitment in the sequencing process.

Hey, why did you choose the iPad instead of the Surface Pro where you can use desktop DAWS like Ableton and Studio One?

I noticed the audio tracks wavs are a lil off the zero start point is that due to latency and does that effect you alot when recording live audio

do you just make the beat on BM3 and record vocals on a different DAW? or you record everything on BM3?

Is that you ?
Sure is! 2nd verse is my brother, Noble.
Wait I’m going to need some modern artist examples of songs that were the verse is only 8 bars for rap songs
Old Town Road - 8 bar verse, 8 bar prechorus, 8 bar chorus. Also, most modern rap songs are in double time, so 16 bars really feels like 8.
That was "moving"...
