      Donna Eden has an awesome book which describes her techniques and explanations of Energy Medicine. I forgot the title, yet it is a classic and will be easy to find used copies online. She probably has authored other books than the first one I am aware. I highly recommend getting a copy, it is a wise investment for you and the people in your life. My copy is on loan to my daughter at this time.

    I just did it. It actually WORKS 😮 I have been having anxiety attacks on and off for 3 days now. What's worse is I started having them in my sleep. My body tenses up and I wake up with it deep in my chest and and I feel panicked. It happens several times a night :( I have a lot going on in my life right now and I was diagnosed with severe anxiety, severe depression, and PTSD a few months ago. Apparently I was told it may have developed when I was a teenager due to childhood traumas. So I'm trying to manage my mental health now. I wish I had been taken to a doctor or therapist when I was a kid but my parents didn't care for that kind of stuff.... I just want to live a healthy life again with emotional balance. Thank you.       Merve . Heal yourself from negative thoughts. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe your natural incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 10-15 minutes or more. Let thoughts come. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Whenever you are free sit still for a few minutes and observe your breath. Being still reduces negative thoughts. Make it a habit. Do the above meditation regularly to have a better life. Best wishes and prayers. Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

    This is completely incorrect. The fight or flight response increases blood flow to your brain and skeletal muscle while diverting it away from your body's surface. Where on earth did you get the statistic that 80% of the blood from your 'forebrain' leaves? First of all that would cause irreversible damage if it did happen and furthermore the 'forebrain' encompasses the entire cerebrum (among other things nowhere near the forehead) which just happens to contain the frontal lobes which have the primary motor cortex (required for voluntary movement and vital in a fight or flight response). This is pure blatant disinformation!
    Also by your logic, if you just have your hands by your side in their resting positions, is all your blood being drawn to your pelvic region?

    These techniques simply bring you out of your worrying mind into your body via physical sensations. There is no stress in sensing. Forget the fancy explanation. It is the fact that you are switching from anxious thinking to present moment sensing that relieves you. All physical sensing takes place in the present moment or the Now.

    Why does it make me cough???? The hand on heart chakra and tapping triple warmer makes my lungs hurt and I start coughing like an asthma attack. It makes no sense, besides some strange reaction to stagnant energy moving?
