Henry and Harry Metcalfe would have to be the two most favourite car guys of mine. They bring emotion, passion, detail and quality that really appeals to this sad old car tragic.

That's really cool progression over time, having a spider without rigidity drawbacks or heavy reinforcements. If I take out the targa roof of my 91 Supra you instantly feel and hear some rattling and shaking when hitting bad roads or even railroad crossings. Would love to be able to test drive such a 570 for an hour :-)

Yep - He's THE man! Done some epic vids over the years in some of the most beautiful places on Earth and his writing in EVO magazine was sublime. Seems he can drive a bit too, which obviously helps! Liked Alex too TBH, shame he's gone. Would have been great to have both of them on here.

McLaren hits it out of the park once again with the 570s spider but the real sweet spot is a 650s Spider SUPER series used car which has done its depreciating and is ballistically quick with even more refinement and technology like brake steer and active aero
McLarens are cars that you don't really appreciate until you see one. I never really thought much of them, but having travelled to UAE, where they are more common than 911's, you realise that they have amazing presence and are mighty impressive. I would definitely have one over a 488 spider.
Holy... Been looking at McLarens for a while now, and haven't really been too sure whether I would prefer the GT version of the 570 or the S version of it... Since I'm very attracted to being able to pull the roof down, I liked the GT version perhaps a little more at the time, but now I am convinced this is the better option! Love it! Any opinions or personal preferences of McLarens?

On a scale of 1-10 in shear exterior beauty that car is a 20. Even the roof action is awe inspiring. Henry is awesome too, glad he's aboard.
EVO's loss is Carfection's gain. For me, Catchpole is one of the best car writers extant.
Still blows my mind that today a machine which hammers 60 in 3.2 seconds is considered kind-of, sort-of supercar.
This car might be rated at 3.2 sec from the mfg, will run sub 3 sec times. this car is way under rated.
Anything under 3.7 is a supercar to me
Well tbf, the they consider the 720s a super car, and that has hypercar performance. So they all punch well above their weight.
