man ive been told i look like john heder/napoleon dynamite by so many people (known and unknown) since 2005, i used to hate it. thing is, i love the movie but i didnt love the character or being referenced through it. made me feel as if people thought thats how i really am, act or talk. didnt exactly help that i grew up with heavy social anxiety either. however, over the years ive gradually become more comfortable about it and subsequently made socializing much easier for me by embracing it. the poignant details from john that really hit home was the 'ive become a hermit since the uprising popularity of the movie' remark he made was super relatable. on the other hand, seeing john reflect on the movie made me wonder if theres others like me that have had to deal with pseudo-vicarious and arbitrary hollywood comparisons. if youre one of them, leave a reply : D

Best line in the movie: "Your mom goes to college!"
why???????
@@luisportella1760 Because he says it so confidently, and is so proud of himself, as though he just came up with the world's best insult ever...and she is so overly offended by such a lame insult that she just storms off. The whole thing was just so expertly executed.
heehee Who could forget that one?!
Me and my three brothers completely agree! We still say it to each other and pushing 50!
I say this daily.
Back in the day middle schoolers were OBSESSED with this movie I was working in education at the time n it was just one of those movies that defined an era.
That's a keen observation. "...defined an era." I agree with you.
For us it was early 90s SNL. One of us had to explain to our teacher why everyone was saying "YESSSSSS!" We were all doing Phil Hartman doing Ed McMahon.
“Grab my wrist.......the other wrist.......no, MY other wrist!”
*arm
Alright watch this; I’m just gonna break the wrist and walk away. Break the wrist, walk away.
*SMACK*
Jeeezzzzz
Seabee156 😂
I live about 20 minutes from Preston, Idaho where the movie was filmed.
fmbmrtjdpcmrtb yea

"Your mom goes to college"
I met Pedro at a club in Jacksonville Fl back in 2005
Uncle Rico was so hilarious!!! I love his character and him in real life too. Such a fun movie.
man ive been told i look like john heder/napoleon dynamite by so many people (known and unknown) since 2005, i used to hate it. thing is, i love the movie but i didnt love the character or being referenced through it. made me feel as if people thought thats how i really am, act or talk. didnt exactly help that i grew up with heavy social anxiety either. however, over the years ive gradually become more comfortable about it and subsequently made socializing much easier for me by embracing it. the poignant details from john that really hit home was the 'ive become a hermit since the uprising popularity of the movie' remark he made was super relatable. on the other hand, seeing john reflect on the movie made me wonder if theres others like me that have had to deal with pseudo-vicarious and arbitrary hollywood comparisons. if youre one of them, leave a reply : D
I'm 50, and I still own a psp portable game and movie player, and I have 30+games but only 1 movie....... Napoleon dynamite. Love the simplicity of everything.
I went to one of the showing and Q&A’s. Uncle Rico wasn’t at the one I went to but it was awesome!
I reached this classic recently. I laughed again at the things I remembered and even saw things I missed from the first 10 times I watched. A sign of a truly great movie. Long live Uncle Rico can he still throw the football clear over those mountains?
Maybe.. But hes still a Bodaggit
Yes! To answer your question.
This movie was golden about a week ago...picked it up at my local library.

This movie is my whole childhood, this video actually made me happy and sad at the same time
...life is short, enjoy the ride!!!
Raz zi I always wish my favorite movies I could go back in time and watch it for the first time! If I get dementia I can watch it every day !! ☝️🤟🏈🥋🚲🐓🦙
I think I speak for everyone....15 YEARS????
20 now
I can't believe it's been 15 years already. One of literally the best movies ever.
"I like your sleeves. They're real big."
"Thanks. I made them myself."
I was just watching the movie last night! Such great memories I had from this one movie! Vote For Pedro♥️
This made my night. My dad loves this movie as much as I do, especially Kip and LaFawnduh....and he's almost 70.
“I like her bangs.”
:: sigh:: Me too...
Gosh...I actually drove (a total of 5800 kms) to visit Preston Idaho...
Filming location of Napoleon Dynamite. I did visit a couple other movie locales on that trip as well.
I saw something about people driving to Winslow Arizona because of the Eagles song! But you’re both awesome to do that!🐄🤟☝️🐓🏈🦙🥋🚲
Part of the appeal of this movie is that the cast are fans of it as well. I love interviews of all of these people because I can totally see myself watching and enjoying Napolean Dynamite with them.
Napoleon don’t be jealous cause I’ve been chatting online with babes all day. We both know that I’m training to become a cage fighter
Yeah right kip you have the worst reflexes in tbe world
@@doggygaming950 wrong line fucking idiot

Oh I loved having this show up in my You Tube feed today! It's from 3 years ago, but it didn't matter -- it was just so fun to see these three together. Thanks for keeping this up WGN News!!
I'll just have to have a daughter and name her Tina, and I'll have the perfect way to call her down to the dinner table.
@@raltajal3124 😂😂😂
Tina come get some ham!
"Napoleon","I'm sure there's a babe out there for you".........."peace out"
But he grew into a babe. I don't think I'd notice him as ND if I came across him.
