Great flag error find. The RM really need to get some new £2 coins out of the long store. Shame none of the £2 commemoratives get put into circulation.... there's some great designs, like Tolkien etc.
Another great vid LAFTA. I've yet to find a flag error. I do have a 2015 Britannia die rotation error, which I believe there around 3250 of. I was lucky to enough to be handed it by a customer at work last year. As they rarely come up for sale, what would you value it at in your opinion?
Can you send a video of the 2 Australian pound coin, which does not have a picture of the queen? Instead, the back picture of the coin has one side on both sides. Thanks.
Great video BAFTA, two questions come to mind: What’s to look out for in the Technology coins and how did you set up your camera to get such quality crisp videos? Cheers
Very interesting. I've slowly come to the conclusion that that cud 'errors' aren't errors at all. They are defects. Same with die clashes, ddo's and even rotations. A result of crap quality control. Real errors for me are wrong edge inscriptions or mules. Where a genuine mistake has been made in making the coin as is supposed. Some people argue that the 'error' is in letting cud defects pass through qc. I would counter that by saying The Mint are quite happy to let such coins through. Until a point where a coin might not get processed through a machine. The real issue is putting extra value on such defects. Id never pay more for a blemished coin, I want them to be perfect. But each to their own. I do laugh at how, for example, Magna Carta, can have a few cud errors on it....but no one cares for that, lol, but if it looks like a flag or a crisp packet then 😉. Funny old game coin collecting. I blame the lack of £2's in circulation for the last 7years. Its led to people searching for other stuff to hunt. Anyhoo, im at risk of sounding like a Victor Meldrew, I'm really not bothered what people like to collect. Feel free to prove me wrong. Its a good debate. You're one of the best at what you do, Lafta, so keep up the good work, bud.👍
Hello, I’ve enjoyed about 20 of your videos so far this week. Question for you. I have definitely got an error Shakespeare Comedies. The edge inscription is upside down! Everything else appears correct. Is it worth much???

I have a video called “normal looking £2 coins worth money” or something like that. Give that a watch mate.

Upside down writing is not an error! I have a video about it and mention it fairly often. It’s normal either way up. Thanks for watching!
Great advice :)
awesome flag error find mate, in your opinion what makes a good coin design? 🤘
650,000 mintage, but how many with the error?
What is your favorite £2 coin
