- Transformers: The Game 2.0 Mod continues with the second to last level of the Decepticon Campaign: The Day of the Machines. This massively refurbished level far surpasses the simple search and destroy of the original and now features bonus side objectives of hunting down the Allspark by destroying buildings and flowing much better with the cutscenes! It also features the most aggressive enemy in the entire mod: Optimus Prime! This new Prime is capable of killing you in seconds and requires a very specific method to overcome. However once you nail it down, you can easily beat him and secure control of the Allspark and thus the entire planet!
Transformers: The Game returns with the biggest series on the channel since the Alternative Mod.
Today marks the start and examination of the Transformers: The Game 2.0 Mod by Digital Arctic.
This mod aims to restore unused content to the game and enhance the overall quality of it with tons of new features including: Improved AI, Updated Difficulty, Unused Concept Ideas, 4 Alternative Main Chapters, and over 131 Dynamic Submissions!! While Prime doesn't have any special abilities that makes him invincible like Megatron, he does the most damage and can't be knocked back.
Some things are bullshit in the day of the machines and ultimate doom, when playing as Optimus you can't send Megatron flying with melee attacks and Megatron's flail works, but that's the opposite in the Day Of The Machines.
Now this was Highly Fitty. Modding the other cons to actually battle Prime was brilliant on Digitals end.
I remember when I was super young playing this over fifteen years ago, I called out one of Megatrons voice lines for not being his. I recognized that it was Starscreams voice!
After all these years of seeing the lines finally put to use, it genuinely makes me happy

Same!! As a kid when I always used to rent this game before buying it and all, I could swear that line was Starscream’s and not Megatron saying it. I don’t have a pc to play this mod, but honestly watching Barricade’s playthroughs of it is more fun that actually playing the real thing lmao.

Same, it's still one of the darkest endings I have ever seen, darker than the decepitcon ending in the second game.
