    Helpful little tip using SS. When cutting out the sound for the crowd to sing you can use the main channel volume that way your lights can stay on... or you can load a track onto deck 3 and/or 4 with a light show made of all white then just cut the fader to that other side that is not playing (cutting out sound) and then light are all white to get the crows attention to sing. Now I know that is a lot of steps both live and programing, but it gives a cool effect.

    No bamba is a dangerous song when played in a house.... I ended with a crack floor and another house ended with a collapsed porch.

      Lol No kidding bro, i did the same at a few college parties. I had no idea what i was in for when I played it for the first time. Im lucky to be alive. >:) 10/10 will play again

    Guys please deal with SoundSwitch until you know the advantages of the software before you going to use ist on a gig. I'm using it since '16 and have ~250 tracks scripted. But even if you don't program manual, the default autoloops are better than that RGB chases in your show. E. g. the fade down effect after every beat is an advantage that is not easy to program with another DMX software

    What do you think of the QSC powered speakers? I just upgraded from alto to QSC and the volume difference is insane, the altos are like a Bluetooth speaker in comparison.

    • @DJRickWeb

      Qsc is great. I personally dont care for the sound of them. Too much processing being done on the audio

    Is this a normal for a club to be like this in the US? In England it's a lot more dance, house music than rap. Also less sports bar feel to them

    • @DJRickWeb
      @DJRickWeb  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is more of a bar with a DJ. Small college town. No actual clubs exist. We transform this bar into a make shift club for promotion purposes. Less of a club. Look up sway night club in Florida. That's more of a good US example.

      DJ dynablend, you program shows to the songs in serato or VDJ and every time you play that song the light show automatically plays...every time. You can also program autoloops, they will play for songs you havent preprogrammed. It is amazing, you dont need a seperate computer to run it.

      Your ipod cant match bpm, mix on cue, or read a crowd to determine the direction to go with the energy, vibe, bpm, etc. On the money side I barely broke even on the PigSkin club gigs. I was more or less trying to start something that didnt exist in this small college town. It worked.

    • @TomKaosOfficial
      @TomKaosOfficial 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      DJ Rick Web Who you kidding man, you dont touch tempo/bpm or even know how to beatmatch without a computer or controller doing it for you. When youre just hitting play on music for sheeple that dont have a clue about mixing. Nothing impressive or original happening when you dj. A dime a dozen tards like you. I wouldnt even show up to get paid $5,000 for 1 hour to play the Garbage everyone listens to/that you play, I have more Dignity than that. Those digital juke boxes can do your job bro.
