- I spent four nights at the magical Paradise Cove Resort in the Yasawa Islands, Fiji and it was the most incredible place I've ever stayed at in my life!

From our stunning beachfront villa, the amazing snorkelling, delicious food and the most friendly and welcoming staff, it was the best holiday ever and a trip to remember forever.
Highly highly recommended for a special getaway in Fiji!

How was it? my fiancé and I are still deciding on either Bora Bora, Fiji,or Cancun
@Jason-dd3br .....hey & FYI....a knowledgeable reply.
Been to all three places, over the past 30 years. So here's my take....
-Cancun: nah, pass on that one. Water is dirty as the sewers dump right off the coast from ALL the hotels there. Is crime from the Cartels=getting worse. Is crowded from hotels by folks who not know better. Plus, do not support crime, so boycotting Mexico forever!!
-Tahiti: Spectacular!! Been there 3 times=Tahiti, Moorea, & Bora Bora. Of the three, Bora Bora IS the most beautiful island in the world! As the rep, is true!! Water for snorkeling & diving is amazing! Done both, as we are water babies. Moorea & Bora Bora are the better islands. Bora is the most expensive, & has the most over water bungalows on the world, but very pricey. Bora B is pricier than Moorea. Moorea has more the island vibe, versus the resort vibe of Bora B. Was at Club Med, on each island, before they closed down. Can't go wrong with either island!!🤙
-Fiji: was at Serenity Island 5 years ago. Going back for Anniversary trip, next year. It won out over Tahiti!! Never thot any place would take the #1 spot, but did. Same excellent water for snorkeling & diving! Similar island vibe. But the Fiji people, are so much more friendly than Tahiti. Bula!! Lol. Tahiti, they hate the French, thus have hidden issues w white foreigners...& the males luv to fight too, for real=gotta watch out! Fiji, the opposite=laid back & chill folks, & very naturally friendly!! The beauty there rivals Tahiti too, tho no place can rival Bora Bora tho!!
The waters in Fiji & Tahiti, do rival the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, as been there & stayed on the only resort allowed, by Law, on the Reef itself=was like the movies, as absolutely spectacular viz & fishes!!!! Fiji & Tahiti are right up there with there, as near equals.
Since we are going back to Fiji, ya can see our choices. Though if never been to Bora Bora, and money is not an issue =that IS the choice, as a once in a lifetime place, not kidding!! And that is from a world traveler of 37 countries, & most all States & Canadian Provences....so been there & done it.

How far did you swim to get the area for snorkeling? I'm trying to estimate if it's doable for 6 yo kid.
Great video Krysti! I'm taking my family to Paradise Cove in June we can't wait and your video gave us a wonderful idea of what to expect. I do have a question for you though, while I'm thrilled about the outside bathroom I'm also concerned about creepy crawly visitors, seriously did you encounter many, especially spiders?? I guess Huntsman spiders are probably the only downside of paradise!
Hey, so excited for you and your family! It's such a beautiful place. I would love to take my own family there one day. Nope, didn't see a single spider! There are some mosquitos hanging around at night but the room comes with a large mosquito coil and also bug spray to keep them away. I'd also recommend bringing some repellent yourself. You'll be totally fine :)

Hi, Fiji is a three hour flight north of New Zealand and Hawaii is another 6 hour flight north of Fiji. So not very close at all :)
