I am so happy that these might get a trilogy HD 2d remake, I have played all the other games on DS but I haven't touched the original trilogy yet so this will be a good excuse to visit these original titles. :)
I was hoping they would decide to remake the first six games, like the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters. And then follow that up with a Theathrythm Dragon Quest.
@@InfiniteStarz39 It's coming out on the Switch. It should run perfectly fine on the PS4. I don't understand why most despise the PS4 still getting games.
dragon quest 3 is a massive game, about 5x bigger than DQ2, so it makes no sense that the longer dev time was due to them throwing in the much shorter DQ1&2. it makes more sense that DQ3 just took 4 years to make since it's massive.
Not releasing on PS4 is very strange considering it's also releasing on the Switch which is a last gen console as well. I really don't understand why people complain about getting games on the PS4 if it could run it. The game isn't suddenly being hampered by weaker specs. I mean it's a HD 2D game how is that even demanding at all? Those people complaining about PS4 still getting support probably are just jealous that they bought an expensive console that still runs last gen games.

Glad the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D got an update! Glad its coming to Switch as well! I am gonna pick it up! And hoping we get a June Direct Date.
With all the Hd-2d games coming out and selling best on Switch, a Switch version was a non brainer. I definitely can't wait for it.
It’s not just DQIII, its the entire Erdrick Trilogy(1-3) getting remade!

DQIII is immense. It may be the greatest game released on the NES.
I nearly forgot about the DQIII remake, but yeah, doing it as an HD trilogy would make more sense.

That game looks beautiful. I’ve never played a Dragon Quest game, but I may play DQ3 when it releases
