I have an error i cant find a solution : An error occured while applying security settings. Users is not a valid user or group. This could be a problem with the package, or a problem connecting to a domain controller on the network. Check your network connection and click retry or cancel to end the install.

Does your Windows system is in English? If not, you need to add Users and "Authenticated Users" to the localgroups (Anyway if your system is in English and you don't have these groups, you need to add them). In CMD:
net localgroup Users /add
net localgroup "Authenticated Users" /add
then check using whoami what is your name and add yourself to these groups:
net localgroup Users %username% /add
net localgroup "Authenticated Users" %username% /add
Restart your computer.
It works for me. Good luck!

If you didn't find your dashboard,
Click on software tab then click on VMware cloud foundation, you will see the Dashboard and search for VMware workstation pro and follow the steps of above video.

They replaced the file now, 1.) I downloaded VMware for personal use (for Windows) using this method by dashboard to search 2.) and also through the VMware blogpost method but after installing and opening the software they both just give me the option to type the license key or to have a 30-day free trial.

Tried different versions of VMWare Workstation Pro for Personal Use(Windows) from 7.0 to 7.5.2 versions, also uninstalled and deleted registry related to VMware but nothing works. It seems that they are not allowing the free version for personal use anymore as of this time.
