That's a good result. You should be running under 20 minutes soon if you just keep your training consistent, that's it. Yeah, sub-18 is totally another beast, but anyways - keep training, and the results will come! Let's stay in touch! 👍
The 17-minute barrier has been the ultimate goal for me for the last few years. Idk if I'll ever be there, but who knows 🤷♂️ Good luck achieving it! 🤞
The 20min tempo at 3:40min/km is almost as fast as your 5K race pace (3:35min/km) but for a longer duration. Is that right? Seems like a stretch to achieve that in week 7, five weeks before race day
@@myom Oh, it was so long time ago, I might not remember everything correctly, but I remember that the race day was pretty hot 🔥 I might have not run my fastest possible time based on that program.
My goal is 23:00. I got a PB of 23:23 ten days ago, which was a surprise after two years of no PBs. My cadence is a high 190, so I just need to lengthen my stride.
Thanks for sharing your schedule, I have to beat 18 min this autumn as my PB is 18:37. I'll try some of your trainings! Cheers! ✌️
Well, 37 seconds is a lot to improve in one go, but I wish you all the best to run a sum-18 this year 🤞👍
Man you are good. I loved this.
Thanks, man, for the appreciation! 🙏 👍
Great program!! I just ran a 5k race this morning at 20:15. I’m hoping to get under 20 and ultimate goal is under 18 minutes. Thank you for sharing!!

@@OreMan Thank you!! Yes, we will stay in touch!!
Good to see the breakdown 👌🏼
Yeah, feel free to try out the workouts mentioned here!
@@OreMan Thanks. I started running with my dog a couple months ago with a hip belt. Definitely makes things interesting.
This is great, I'm trying to get under 25 minutes. Thanks for the share!
Good luck in your training too! I'm sure you'll break that 25 minute barrier! 👍🤞
Well done great time, I am trying to break the 17minute barrier

@@OreMan Thanks I have done it in training but need to do it in a race.
@@yiannis_christodoulou Oh, OK, then you're almost there! Wish you good luck then! 👏
@@OreMan Thank you and all the best for you too

You can do it Ross your not far off it.
That's good news then that you've overcome the plato. You'll be there soon! Keep up training! 👍
What I will do tuesday or thursday ? (Days without nothing)
You should run easy runs in those days, that is, about 30-40 minutes at an easy pace (it might be around 5:30 min/km or even slower).
Too difcult as a program
Idk, it worked for me 🤷
